Daniel opened his eyes slowly. He stared at a leaf-woven ceiling while the rest of his body was covered in soft and somewhat comfortable leaves.

As Daniel got up, he felt a sharp pain in his head, though it soon disappeared.
He couldn't recall much of what happened last night—at least not until the memories came flooding back.

His eyes widened as Daniel quickly looked at his left shoulder. To his shock, it was completely healed with no signs of visible injury.

It didn't seem to hurt when he moved it either which was a good thing but also surprising.
'Huh... That's... Odd, it couldn't have healed that fast... How long have I been out?' he thought to himself, though soon noticed a doorway just a few steps away from him.

Daniel groaned as he got himself out of the blanket of leaves and stumbled towards the doorway.

As soon as Daniel opened it, he was flashbanged by sunlight and the sound of birds chirping in the distance.
He squinted his eyes and let them adjust to the sudden brightness of the outside world.

Fresh air filled his nostrils which worked well as a wake-up call.
But what worked even better and ended up waking him up instantly was the fact that not even a few metres in front of him... Was Queen Glory.

Daniel's eyes widened, and his body and mind seemed to wake up instantly.
Glory was hugging a small dragonet in her wings as visible tears ran down her face.

He soon realised that the dragon she was hugging was Kinkajou who was also smiling.

They stood like that for a few moments before parting the hug.
They seemed to be getting along well based on their body language, though Daniel couldn't tell what they were saying.

'When in the world did she get here...?' Daniel thought as he took a step back, though he then remembered what Flame told him a few nights ago.

'Oh right, Flame did say that he and the queens were on Pantala... Guess it was only a matter of time before they eventually showed up here'
Daniel sighed to himself.
'Wait... Doesn't that mean the other queens are here too?'

He pondered for a moment, though it was short-lived as he soon locked eyes with Glory.
They both paused and looked at each other awkwardly for a few moments before Glory stuck a wing out in front of Kinkajou who was beside her, sort of protecting her in a way.

Kinkajou peeked out from the side of Glory's wing, she had a mix of an awkward and worried face.

Glory glared at Daniel.
"There you are..."

Daniel took a step to the side.
"Ohhh... Hey Glory... Uhhhh, fancy seeing you here."

Glory didn't move.
"You murderer..."

Daniel shot her a cheeky but awkward smile.
"Ahhh haha... So I'm assuming we can't talk this out...?"

Glory flexed her talon in response.

Daniel's face fell slightly as he sighed.
"Figured... Well in that case!"
He quickly turned tail and started sprinting for his life.

The glare of the sun blinded him momentarily but he soon adjusted and started running through the somewhat populated roads of the Leafsilk kingdom.

Daniel could already hear the rapid steps behind him, even through the surprisingly loud wind whipping past his ears.

"GET BACK HERE!" Glory screamed.
It sounded like more of a desperate tone rather than a hateful one, but knowing her. Daniel didn't take any chances and kept running.
