"Grrr! Are you fucking with me tadhana? Bakit ngayon pa?"

She's tapping harshly on her phone, trying to book a cab, as her car decided on its own to have it's day off today. Ayaw nitong umandar whatever she do.

"Kailangan kong umabot sa contract signing kundi patay ako kay Luna. I was pestering her with this for days para mahanapan lang n'ya ng paraan pero parang ako pa itong hindi makakarating sa tamang oras."

She tried calling Luna but she's out of reach. She might still be in a meeting with the producer for the film adaptation of Darna's book 'Uncover Jane Doe', which reminds her na dapat andoon na s'ya within 15 minutes. "Kung bakit kasi ngayon pa ako nasiraan ng kotse! Just perfect!"

"Need a lift?"

Regina raise her brows as the person riding a big bike stopped right in front of her.

The time might have slowed down as soon as their eyes met when the girl with a red highlight took off her helmet. Smiling as if she has all the solution to every problem there is in this world.

"Miss?" The girl speak again. Waking her up from revery.

"Ah huh?" Doon palang s'ya umiwas ng tingin. Not realizing that she's studying every feature of the girl's face.

"Ang sabi ko kung kailangan mo ng masasakyan? 'Yon lang ang maiooffer ko since i'm not good at fixing cars."

"Oh right! Yes, I think I need a ride. But is it really okay with you? Hindi ba ako makakaabala? I already called the towing company and they're on their way here but I need to be somewhere else right now."

Saka palang ito bumaba ng motor nito at inabot sa kanya ang extra helmet na kinuha nito sa rear handle ng motor.

"Hindi naman. Though may pupuntahan din ako pero makakapaghintay naman 'yon. Hindi ko lang kayang palampasin itong pagkakataon na 'to coz I might not have another chance."

"Ha?"

"I want to confess something."

Kumunot lalo ang noo n'ya dito. "W-what is it?"

"I'm not the goody-goody type who helps a lot of people lalo na kapag stranger. I might have an ulterior motive in stopping by and helping you."
