Chapter 1: Temptation

"Totoong tao ka ba? You look so real though. How could you be this pretty in this painting? Who painted you? How did he capture every detail of your face and body?" Tanong ko sa sarili habang tinititigan ang painting na nakakabit sa wall ng gallery.

I was so amazed with the beauty of the painting in front of me. I'm no critic. I'm not even an art collector. I don't even know how I get here and why did my feet brought me in this gallery.

Basta ko na lamang natagpuan ang sarili kong nakatitig sa hubad na larawan ng babaeng nasa painting.

"Paano n'ya naipinta ang ganda ng mga mata mo? Paano ka n'ya ginawa?"

Nakipagtitigan ako sa kanya. I inspected every detail of her face, from her alluring eyes to her sly smile, intriguing me with what's going onto her mind at the time she's been painted.

"You look so inlove. Sa painter ka ba inlove?" Tanong ko sa kanya. Alam ko namang hindi n'ya kayang sumagot pero alam ko na sa sarili ko kung ano ang sagot sa tanong ko by just looking at her face.

The painting radiates lust with this nude girl staring straight into the eyes of that someone in front of her looking so seductive, turned on and horny as she knelt in front of him.

"She's a real temptress." That's my first impression.

But when I look at her more, I can even sense much more emotion than just lust. It's as if she's so inlove at the moment she's being painted. It radiates thru her that even if I wasn't the person in front of her at that time, I can easily get a hint of what she's feeling.

"You probably might be super inlove with him." I murmured.

"You liked the painting?" Tanong ng babaeng hindi ko alam kung saan ba nanggaling at pabigla nalang sumulpot sa likuran ko.

"Yes. It's interesting. I found myself just staring at it for minutes now." I answered.

She just smiled at me and we inspected the painting in silence for some minutes.

"Isn't it nice? This piece seemed full of lust. That girl looks like she's tempting us."

"Yeah. I can see that too. But there's more to it. Look at her eyes. She's seducing that someone in front of her, maybe the painter himself, but it's not just pure seduction, there's love. I think that painter is somewhat special to the girl."

"I got the same interpretation. That's what I thought too. It's lustful yeah but there's so much more, something more in her eyes than just pure bodily need. And I think we're both right... it's love. Imagine how lucky that girl in the painting is. Artists take so much time and effort to do a piece and making a portrait as big as this... she's really fortunate. Bet she's really special to the artist."

"Yeah. I can see that. And the way she bares and exposed her body to his sight? It takes a lot of guts to do that. I get the idea that she's exactly letting him feel that he owns her.. like she's submitting herself to him, giving him everything that she has. The painter might be super lucky. Do you think they're together... I mean as a couple?" I curiously ask her. Feeling ko kasi marami s'yang alam sa paintings at sa painters din.

She shook her head. "Painters are private people too. They'll just say something about their artworks but not the full details of it. Sana nandito s'ya to explain it to us fully. S'ya lang makakagawa n'yan. I, myself, is so curious with this piece and the artist itself. Wait, let's look at the 'title card' closely and see who painted this."
