THE NEXT MORNING faye found herself sat comfortably infront of lori as she brushed the girls hair. "is shane gonna kill randall?" faye mumbled as she fidgeted with her fox necklace.

"no, bug. i don't think so." lori replied trying to reassure the girl, fighting the turmoil in her head.

"wouldn't put it past him. if he was in charge i think you, him and carl would be the only ones alive." faye remarked. lori stayed quiet, deep down she knew the twelve year old was right.

"come on, i think maggie wants some help with lunch." lori smiled, holding her hand out for the girl trying to divert the topic into something nicer.

the girl took loris hand and walked beside her into the greene household. in the kitchen stood maggie, cutting up vegetables. "need some help?" lori asked "of course" maggie nodded over to the other side of the table.

"did rick say anything to you about glenn when they got back from town?" maggie spoke up. "just that it had gotten be pretty bad." lori replied.

"he's not the same. says he froze" maggie looked up from the tomato she was cutting. faye furrowed her brows at maggies words. she'd known glenn since nearly the beginning of the outbreak, he was never the type of person to freeze in an intense situation.

"blames me. says i got inside his head." maggie continued. "he came back. that's what matters." lori stated.

"men have to do certain things, you know that. and they're either gonna blame the little woman as the reason that they do 'em or the reason they don't." lori rambled.

"yeah that's why they suck." faye piped in. she didn't know much about men considering she was 12 but from the men she's been surrounded by she could proudly say nearly all of them are weird pricks.

"i'll tell you something. what happens out there, happens out there. and we.. were just tryna keep it together till they get back." lori added darting around the kitchen.

"things were good maybe i-" maggie began "glenn's a big boy. he makes his own choices." lori popped a cucumber into her mouth. "big boy, my ass." faye snickered. "language." lori warned the girl.

seeing the worried expression still written all over maggies face lori spoke again "do you have anything to apologise for?" she raised her eyebrows receiving a shaken head from maggie. "then... tell him to man up and pull himself together." she shrugged.

"let me just give this to beth." maggie mumbled picking up the tray. "you go on. i got it." lori reassured the woman taking the tray from her and into the bedroom.

"don't worry. glenn's just a big baby who doesn't like the fact that he's inlove with you." faye told maggie as she hopped down from the counter and left the house.

"so whatcha gonna do? we'd all feel better if we knew the plan." lori spoke up. shane and rick didn't let go of randall, instead they brought him back.

"is there a plan?" andrea added "are we just keeping him here?" glenn questioned.

"we'll know soon enough." rick replied nodding into the distance where daryl was seen walking towards them.

"boy, there's got a gang, 30 men. they have heavy artillery and they ain't looking to make friends." daryl began.

"they roll through here, our boys are dead. and our women they're gonna wish they were." he informed them.

"what did you do?" andrea furrowed her brows. "had a little chat." he replied. faye noticed her fathers bloody knuckles, a sight she'd only seen a few times before the outbreak as daryl did a pretty good job sheltering her from the evil parts of the world.

"nobody goes near this guy." rick ordered, his eyes darting to every member.
"rick, what are you gonna do?" lori whispered.

"we have no choice. he's a threat. we have to eliminate the threat." he muttered.

"you're just gonna kill him?" dale spoke up, his face full of disbelief.

"it's settled. i'll do it today." rick muttered before walking away.

faye watched everyone else walk away, she noticed carl and shane walking together towards the barn. she watched shane walk around to the front and carl keep to the side.

she rushed over to him as he climbed into the barn from the side. "what are you doing." she furrowed her brows. carl brought his finger to his lip, silently telling her to shush before helping her into the barn.

the two stared down at the bottom of the barn, seeing randall chained up. randall noticed the two "hey.." he whispered "that's a sweet hat! i'm randall what's your names?" he smiled.

faye felt uneasy at his smile, knowing the man thought they were that dumb just because they were young.

"the sheriff guy that's your dad? and the redneck has to be yours. oh man you and him look so alike." he whispered.

"i like the sheriff guy, the redneck was very mean to me. your moms out here too?" he tilted his head. faye mentally winced at the mention of her mom but kept a stern glare on him.

"you're lucky you still have family.. i lost mine." he tried inching closer, making the chains rattle. "hey.. i don't know what people have been saying about me, but i didn't do nothing i swear."

"the sheriff was gonna let me go till his friend started fighting with him. it was getting kinda bad i was getting worried." randall continued

"do you ever shut the fuck up?" faye mumbled. "sorry i-i.. just didn't do anything wrong. my camp, we got supplies, you help me ill take you and your folks back to my people." he raised his brows.

fayes eyes widened as she watchedcarl climb down the ladder, towards the man. "just help me pick the locks or find the key." he told carl. "come on? please?" he pleaded.

suddenly the barn doors opened, shane walked inside angrily. "what the hell are you doing in here, what did you say to them." shane lunged at the man.

"i will shoot you where you sit." shane pulled out his gun. "open your mouth, huh open your mouth. you like talking man? you like talking?" he placed the gun on the man's lips.

"you drag him in here with you?" shane angrily turned to faye "what no? i didn't do shit!" she exclaimed "yeah right, both of you get your asses out of here now." he pushed the two out the barn doors.

faye and carl knelt by sophia's grave in silence. "you know, we'll see sophia again in heaven someday." carol spoke up as she walked towards the two.

faye gave carol a smile before turning back to carl who's eyes never left the grave. "she's in a better place." carl softly spoke.

"no she's not. heaven is just another lie and if you believe it you're an idiot." carl spat before walking away.

faye's eyes widened at his statement, she awkwardly sat there watching carols face turn and carl walking away. "i think dales calling me i'm just gonna.." faye mumbled before walking away.
