a few days went by, rick and michonne hadn't been seen recently but it didn't alarm everyone. they'd gone on a mission and usually it would take a few days anyway.

carl and faye spent everyday together with judith. it honestly made faye hopeful that one day her and carl could one day have a family of their own.

when the day finally came that rick and michonne did come home. they instantly set off on another mission this time along with carl, faye and a few others.

tara had told rick about a place called oceanside. apparently she'd been forced to keep it a secret from everyone for some reason. oceanside had a good sized armoury and if they wouldn't join the fight rick planned to rob their weapons.

everyone headed through the words towards the small community, their guns raised and on high alert.

"you okay?" carl placed a hand on his girlfriends shoulder, noticing her anxious habit of lip biting. "yeah, i'm fine. just want this over with." faye nodded.

faye just wanted this all over with and she could tell this wasn't gonna end well. it was like them to just steal from a community. i mean, weren't they fighting to stop a man from stealing from communities?

she anxious watched as tara went in to distract their leader followed by daryl, jesus and rick.

soon enough, oceanside members began to flee the small town. "EVERYBODY ON THE GROUND." faye yelled sternly, aiming her gun at them along with tobin and carl.

"we don't want anybody to get hurt. just stay calm and listen to what we say." carl chimed in.

soon enough rick, daryl and jesus came back. "alright, we made a lot of noise so we wanna made this quick. no one needs to get hurt." rick spoke as he approached them.

"this is just about what you have. what we need." he added.

"nobody's taking anything!" the oceanside leader, natania yelled as she held a gun up to tara's head. "you need to let everyone go and leave right now.

"yeah, we'll leave you alone. but we're taking your weapons with us." rick stated.

"it's natania, right?" rick tilted his head. "put the gun down, and let's talk about what we can change."

"no. leave right now." natania shook her head, pressing the gun harder against tara's head. "we've tried to fight the saviours before. it didn't end well. we're not losing anymore! not our guns, not our people, not our safety!"

"we're gonna win." tara spoke firmly, the dedication clear in her tone. "with your guns. with our without your help."

rick looked down at the startled oceanside members "natania. put the gun down." he looked up at their leader.

"you kill me and you die. and my people take your guns and nothing changes." tara tried her best to convince natania to drop the gun.

"maybe we should try." an oceanside member known as beatrice muttered.

"grandma, stop." cyndie whispered to natania desperately. "it's over. just talk to them okay?"

"ITS NOT OVER!" natania exclaimed.

"they've forgotten. you've all forgotten!" she looked down at her group. "some of you actually want to fight them? after everything? we can lose our guns, but us leaving this place to fight? after everything i have to remind you!"

"yes. i am going to do this, and then I'm gonna die. but it's that important!" she yelled.

"rick!! walkers!!" michonne yelled from the tree she was sat in.
