the others headed back at the barn, 30 minutes later.when they arrived back, they noticed the cans of food spread out amongst the floor that glenn's group had taken from aaron.
"this.. this is ours now." rick picked up a can of spaghetti-os. "there's more than enough." aaron nodded. "it's ours. whether we go to your camp or not."
"what do you mean? why wouldn't we go?" carl furrowed his brows in confusion, aaron wasn't lying, was rick stupid enough to pass up an amazing offer?
"if he were lying or he wanted to hurt us.. but he isn't and he doesn't." michonne replied, glaring up at rick. "we need this." she stated. "so we're going. all of us."
"somebody say something if they feel differently." she paused, waiting for an objections. "i don't know, man. this barn smells like horse shit." daryl spoke up.
"yeah, we're going." rick announced. "so where are we going? where's your camp?" he turned his attention on aaron.
"well, everytime i've done this, ive been behind the wheel driving recruits back." aaron began to explain.. noticing the intense glares from the group. "i- i believe you're good people. i bet my life on it. i'm just not ready to bet my friends lives just yet."
"you're not driving." michonne left no room for discussion. "so if you wanna get home, you'll have to tell us how."
aaron let out a sigh of defeat, he had no other option. "go north on route 16."
"and then?"
"i'll tell you when we get there."
"we'll take 23 north." rick looked down at the map he'd taken from aaron's backpack. "you'll give us directions from there."
"that's.. i don't know how else to say it, that's a bad idea. we've cleared 16. it'll be faster." aaron rambled nervously.
"we'll take 23." rick repeated himself, still not fully trusting the man. "we leave at sundown."
"we're doing this at night?" faye raised her eyebrows, her voice full of hesitance. "look, i know it's dangerous. but it's better than riding up to the gates during the day. if it isn't safe, we need to get gone before they know we're there." rick explained, his voice full of determination.
"no one is going to hurt you." aaron stated, beginning to get frustrated. "you're trying to protect your group but you're putting them in danger."
"tell me where the camp is, we'll leave right now." rick glared at him, he knew aaron wouldn't give in that easy. "it's gonna be a long night, eat." he turned to his group. "get some rest if you can."
sundown came quicker than expected. faye sat down in the RV next to carl. the journey was quiet for the most part, faye rested her head against the window, her eyes fighting to stay awake. suddenly, the rv came to a halt, jolting her out of her sleepy state.
"what was that?" abraham exclaimed, glaring at aaron's friend eric who drove the RV. "i- i- don't know.. your friends drove into a horde." the man stammered as he reversed the RV, redirecting the RV to a strange building.
maggie and sasha helped eric out the van, due to the injury he'd gotten from the sudden halt of the rv, he'd sprained his ankle. the pain only hit him after the adrenaline left his body.
everyone sat around in the small room, in faye's words "they'd basically been kidnapped" everyone talked amongst eachother quietly as faye got up to talk to her dad who waited outside for the others since eric claimed "aaron would know where to go."
