AFTER AWHILE
everyone reunited, rick dug a small hole in the ground, burying a bag of guns. "just incase." he muttered.

rick was the first to hop the fence, the others following close behind. they discreetly ran around the building, reaching a metal red door. rick opened it, letting daryl rush in, his crossbow ready to let fire on anyone who seemed to be a threat.

faye could hear a woman on a loud speaker, giving her an eerie feeling, sending chills down her spine. she waited for her dad to give the nod to say everything was okay, once he did, the group followed him into the main room. "hello." rick spoke up, making every stranger in the room turn their attention onto him and the others.

"well, i bet albert is on perimeter watch." a man sighed, his voice carrying a hint of annoyance. "you here to rob us?" he raised his brows.

"no. we wanted to see you before you saw us." rick explained, taking a few steps towards him. "makes sense." the man remarked.

"usually we do this where the tracks meet." he cleared his throat. "welcome to terminus." he opened his arms as if to greet them warmly. "i'm gareth. looks like you've been on the road a good bit."

"we have." rick nodded in agreement. "rick, that's carl, faith, daryl, michonne" he introduced each member one by one who kept a firm death glare on gareth.

"you're nervous, i get it. we all felt the same way." gareth gave a small smile. "we came here for sanctuary. that what you're here for?" he asked.

gareth gave faye weird vibes since she'd first laid eyes on him. something about how he smiled, how he talked, how he fidgeted nervously. his demeanour all seemed fake. she furrowed her brows as she glared at him, trying to work him out completely.

he called over his friend, known as alex. "alex will take you, ask you a few questions. but uh- first we need to see everyone's weapons." he stated firmly. "if you could just lay them out infront of ya."

rick hesitated for a moment, looking at the others for confirmation "alright." he slid his gun out his waistband.

faye's eyes darted over to her dads, giving him a "are you sure" look, in which he nodded. she slid her pocket knife out her waistband, along with her gun, dropping it down on the floor infront of her then putting her arms up ready for a pat down.

"hate to see the other guy." alex smirked as he patted down daryl, moving onto faye "you're definitely his kid." he glanced over to daryl quickly. "got the same death glare." he chuckled to himself.

after everyone had been searched, alex began to hand their weapons back. daryl and faye picked their weapons back up before the man could even reach down for them, shooting daggers at him.

"follow me." he awkwardly smiled, guiding them out the room. once they reached outside, they were met by a ginger lady with the same fake-welcoming smile.

"hey, mary would you fix these folks a plate for me?" alex asked in a cheery tone. michonne began to question the man as mary plated up a plate of food and handed it to faye who handed it to carl swiftly, not trusting the people well enough to take their food.

she watched as rick glanced around at the other members of terminus, her eyes narrowed as she tried to figure out what was startling the man so much.

suddenly, rick slapped the plate of food out of alex's hand, pulling out a pocket watch from his pocket he held the man close, sticking his gun to alex's head. this made the others spring into action, each pulling out their own weapons pointing it at the terminus people.
