you're probably wondering what happens next. well, let's catch you up to speed.
the group fought the saviours once and for all. the saviours surrendered and rick decided to let negan live. he said something about 'a normal world' and that now negan would be locked up, it was a new beginning.
a few months later, rick died sacrificing himself to save everyone else. in honour, the group respected ricks wishes of keeping negan alive and starting a new world. ricks death hit the communities pretty hard but especially the grimes' family. carl became more protective of his sister, his stepmom, his girlfriend and his new step brother.
6 years went by, daryl went searching for rick or his body everyday. michonne left to go search for rick and faye and carl were now parents to a baby girl called lorelai, named after lori. faye and carl were now raising judith, rj and lorelai.
everything was going great for awhile before a new enemy appeared. the whisperers. the whisperers had taken the lives of many, including enid and tara.
the leader of the whisperers (alpha) daughter joined alexandria, daryl took her in as his second daughter.
suprise surprise, negan killed alpha around 7 months into the war.
everything went back to normal but of course.. not for long.
