"She just woke up and couldn't move her legs. She said she couldn't feel them. At first, I believed it was just temporary numbness, but now I'm not so sure". The man on the end of the line was saying. He was panicking, the words rushed out of his mouth as he told the doctor his mother's condition.

Lee was calm as he asked, "How long has it been since?"

"A little over an hour. I went out for a bit and got delayed. When I came back, she said she felt tingling, and the numbness wouldn't go away".

"Does she have a history of a medical condition such as diabetes or maybe a stroke?"

"She had a stoke about three years ago, but she's never had one ever since".

"Okay, when can you bring her to the clinic? I would like to run some tests."

"Tomorrow morning".

Dr Lee put down the receiver and closed his book where he had jotted down a few notes. He looked at the time on his phone. Three minutes past three. It had been a long day; he hadn't even gotten around to lunch yet. He was about to get up from his chair when his employees walked in, they were back from marketing. They sat down on the chair opposite from him.

"Did you have lunch?"

"Yes, we had burgers", Blessing answered. She was short for her age, a little more energetic it was as if she never to run out of something to say.

"Did you?" Linnette asked

"I skipped it. We don't have any more clients for today, I think we can..."

He didn't get to finish his sentence before a man walked in carrying a sick boy on his back. The five-year-old boy had a fever, and no clinic would take him this late on a Sunday. His assistants were quick to move, making a bed for him. Lee moved quickly too and moments later they all forgot about going home.

They finished late into the night that Dr Lee had to drive Blessing and Lennette home. When he got home himself, he only had time to make a quick dinner before he fell asleep.

Traffic was heavy the next morning. A heavy fog clouded the entire city making it impossible to see ahead. Lee put on some slow music as he drove and stopped and drove and stopped again. When he got into work, Blessing was cleaning while Lennette organized the day's schedules and appointments. This was one of those rare days when they got to work before him and today just like any other day, they didn't let it slide. Making Lee laugh at the childishness. They were younger than him anyway and this was one of those moments when they reminded him just how old he was. He was almost in his thirties, and they were both in their early twenties. But very efficient. They had all the qualifications and training he needed.

They were now at a point where they understood each other. This line of work required a hundred percent teamwork. They had to be on the same page and trust each other's judgment to make the right call and make the best decision for the patience's wellbeing.

Lee had worked in the public health sector for years before going into holistic and natural healing. It was one of those things that had scared him to do. He hadn't been sure he was making the right decision when he first started out, doubts constantly clouded him especially because he had been in the business of using drug to cure diseases for so long.

But one day, as though the universe was answering his questions, a woman walked in with a health issue. He had looked at her and told her to go to a hospital and she had refused. Telling him that the drugs were too much for her, that she didn't know why but she just couldn't; wouldn't take a drug anymore. Her body just didn't want to anymore. Lee gained strength in the womans trust. And when they started her therapy, they quicky noticed change in her body and her healing process. In a year, she was completely healthy. That was a turning point in Lee's career.

In all his patients that he worked with, there was little to no side effects, the natural medicine didn't irritate their hormones or disturb their eating habits. Combined with exercises, these natural therapies not only healed his patience's but made them feel good.

And now his clinic was fast growing. He was the only doctor but was starting to look for another holistic doctor. He only had a moment to make coffee before the first patient for the day walked in, signaling the start of another busy day.
