Red pov:

We headed down for supper. I was practically dragging Chloe by the wrist as we rushed down the stairs. I was so hungry, ever since Chloe got me to eat every day my appetite has changed. I kinda stopped feeling hunger when I was 13. But now that I can freely eat, I can tell it was helping me. We soon found our new friends and sat down in front of them.

Mona: Hey guys.

Jack: Why, yalls hair kinda messy?

Chloe and I looked at each other, realizing we had forgotten to fix our hair after our nap.

Chloe: Oh, we just napped before supper cause we were pretty tired.

Red: one of the best naps I've ever taken.

I saw Chloe smile. So we were eating and talking like normal, and Chloe was talking a lot today. I kept looking at her, looking at her every detail. I suddenly got the urge to kiss her. I hesitated, but her words, "I don't want you to hold back. If you want to do it, then do it." Echoed in my head. She was still talking passionately about something. I fixed my posture, leaned over, and gave her a quick kiss on her cheek, pulling back quickly. She froze instantly, staring straight forward, not moving a muscle and blushing like crazy. Everyone else also froze in shock.

Red: Hmm, so that's what that feels like.

I could see a small heart where I kissed her. It looked a little different from my mom's. I continue eating as if nothing had happened. Everyone unfroze and also continued to eat. I was expecting Chloe to wipe off the mark. I looked at her.

Red: Aren't you gonna wipe it off?

She smirks at her plate, trying not to let out a giggle before fixing her posture, avoiding looking at me.

Chloe: Why would I Red, I don't have a reason to.

Red: But everyone's going to see it.

I say in a slightly concerned voice.

Chloe: Just like how everyone saw you kiss me just now?

I froze this time. I ended up blushing in embarrassment.

Jack: she got you good.

He laughed as Leah and Mona also joined laughing.

Leah: No, but seriously, what was that about?

Chloe: I made a deal with Red. To help her express her feelings better, I told her to do what she wanted to me, no boundaries.

She took a bite of food.

Mona: But what if she wants to punch you in the face?

Jack: Yeah, what then?

Chloe looked up at Mona smiles, looked at me, and then looked back at Mona.

A small sigh escaped her mouth before she spoke.

Chloe: I trust her to do what she pleases with me, no matter what it is.

I stared at Chloe with a confused look. She could tell I was staring at her but didn't budge. How can this girl be so confident with that sentence. I didn't believe it, she had to be scared of me somehow. Everyone is. She kept talking to Leah. Ok, she wants to challenge me. I'll give her a challenge. As she was talking, I turned facing her, quickly lifted my left arm, and punched it right in front of her face, making sure it was close but wouldn't hit. Everyone flinched in surprise. Chloe didn't even flinch. After a moment of staring at her with my mouth open. I put my hand down, looking back forward, defeated.

Leah: You weren't kidding about you trusting her sheesh, I thought she hit you.

Chloe: How am I supposed to expect her to trust me if I can't trust her first?
