Part 52 - The Right Decision

Chloe pov:

We are back home safe, and now that evil witch of a queen can no longer get to us. My gosh, she's crazy. I'm still a little on edge but mostly relieved. I'm trying to calm my nerves in this hot shower. The pressure of the water hitting my skin feels so nice. I can't believe I almost lost Red..... I almost chose the wrong option and lost Red. Her words snapped me out of it, and I chose her, I will always choose her from now on because she's too important for me to not have in my life. I then remember when I time traveled into the future to save red from being pushed off the balcony and ended up fixing our future relationship and helping them get re -proposed? I feel like I should propose to Red. I know we technically are supposed to do it in February, but I just want her to officially be mine.... I need her to be mine. Maybe I can ask her subtly and plan it for our date tonight? Once out the shower, I got dressed and walked into the washroom to see Red waiting for me at the door. I walked over to her, and she kissed me on the lips before opening the door for me.  holding hands as we walked down the halls. I tried to ask her some subtle, not so related questions first.

Chloe: So, are you ok after the whole queen red situation, or will you go see Audrey again?

Red: I think I'll go see her at lunch.... I have a few concerns about my own.

I smile at her. I'm so proud that she's able to go seek help for herself when she needs it.

Chloe: I'm happy you're able to go to her when you need it.

Red playfully roll her eyes. Once, I sat down at the table and chatted with our friends. I let her chat a little as I was trying to find a way to ask her the perfect question. 

Chloe: Hey Red, I got 1 more question for you....

I place my hand on her arm. She turns to face me, giving me all her attention.

Red: What is the question, baby?

She just called me baby? Aaaaahhh, can she get any cuter?? I can feel my ears getting hot.

Chloe: You see a future with us together, right?

Red: Yes, who else would I be with?

She gestures the room full of people.

Red: You're mine, Chloe, don't you forget.

She then wraps her arm around my neck, leaning her head.

Chloe: Good... I was hoping you still would...

My voiced trails off as I continue to eat my food. My plan worked, and my next plan is to get Mona and Leah to help me with the perfect proposal. I need this to be special for her, very special. Went to class, and once lunch hit, I found Leah and Mona heading to the cafeteria, I quickly ran over to them.

Chloe: perfect, I was lo9king for you two.... would you be willing to help me do something very special for Red?

Leah: Of course I'd live to help.

Mona: mee two, what do you need help with?

I notice Red walking up to us. I quickly shushed them.

Chloe: I'll tell you after we eat.

Red: What going on here?

Chloe: Oh, we were just talking about our project we have together. We were thinking of studying in Leah's dorm after school.

Leah: Yeah, we got a lot of work ahead.

They played along so well that it was scary convincing. Once we ate, I led the 2 girls into an empty classroom while Red was still eating with Jack.
