Red pov:

I was sitting on this bench crying at my mother's words. She's just as sweet as the Bridget I met at Merlin Academy. She cares so much about my well-being.... before she barely cared except the bare minimum. I'm surprised she even asked me to talk about Chloe. I was gonna try to avoid this day entirely, but with my mom here.... it might not be super awful. We even spent the day just bonding again. I got to know more about my mother. I might still forget she's nice now, but she's been reassuring about every worry I had. I even showed her my paintings that I made a few weeks ago. She was overjoyed with my work. I even finished the painting of our portrait together. She gave me a big hug and kissed my cheek, but this time, I didn't want to remove it. For once, that heart-shaped mark felt nice on my face. We had a delicious lunch at a restaurant nearby. She even talked about my childhood in this timeline. How we used to always hang out and giggle. I wasn't there, but it was nice to hear the stories she had to tell.  Soon enough, it was 4 p.m., and she had to head back to school. Chloe was waiting for me at the entrance watching my mom hug me goodbye. I waved goodbye as she drove off. I then walk to Chloe.

Red: You were waiting for me?

Chloe: Yes, I wanted to know how it went with your mom.

So, as we headed to our dorm, I told her.

Red: Well, at first, it wasn't going well. But she found me in the garden and just wanted to talk. I told her the truth, and she understood.  She even wanted me to just talk about anything I was thankful for, even if I didn't have anything about her.... it was very sweet.

Once at the dorm, Chloe started to get ready.  I could hear her talk to me while she was in the washroom.

Chloe: Did you want to have supper with my family? My mom asked me to invite you.

Red: um sure I don't mind.

So I also got dressed. Before leaving our room.

Red: Where are we going?

Chloe: Well we usually go to this restaurant.... it's a family tradition.

Red: Oh, are  you sure I'm invited? I'm not really "part of the Family".

I awkwardly laughed.

Chloe: Red you practically are. Are you forgetting you're my future wife?

Red: uh....

Chloe giggled as she opened the door to let me out first. We met up with her mom and dad, and we were off to the restaurant. I sat beside Chloe and Chad. It was nice to be included. I had never read a big supper before.

Cinderella: I'm glad you could make it Red, I tried to invite your mother, but she had meetings to attend.

Red: it's ok, I had lunch with her already. I appreciate the invite.

So we spent the evening just talking and enjoying each other's company. It didn't feel awkward at all. After an hour, the Charmings dropped us back at school. It was about 7 pm, and it was still a little bright outside, but cloudy. I then felt something fall on my nose.  I looked around and noticed more stuff falling from the sky. What is this?

Chloe: Oh, look, it's starting to snow.

She is saying all excited.

Red: snow? This white little thing falling from the sky is snow?

Chloe: Yeah, have you never seen snow before?

I shook my head. Wonderland felt like its own world. We never got snow.

Red: What even is it?

Chloe: Well, those little white things are called snowflakes. Each one is unique.
