Part 25 - What did you do!

Chloe pov:

So I time traveled without Red. I stole her looking glass and looked into it. Saw something horrible. Then, I stole the watch as she was sleeping, and now I'm here. I don't even know what day it is. I know it's the future because it is definitely not the past. Looked like a normal school day to me. I walked towards a student sitting on the bench.

Chloe: Hey, what day is it today?

Student: it's February 13. Why?

Chloe: Oh, sorry, I just forgot when valentines Day was... thanks, tho.

I quickly and awkward walk away. It's almost valentines tines day? Oh, please don't tell me I accidentally killed my girlfriend on the day meant for love. Ok, I need to figure out a plan. Well, first, I know what something bad has happened between me and Red. I just have no clue where to even look. I'd rather stay away from my future self unless it's absolutely necessary. Maybe I can try and follow Red somehow. Looks like it was the end of the day. I see Red and I walking towards the swords and shield gym, but stop at the entrance before entering.

Red: I can't wait for our valentines date tomorrow. Chloe!

Chloe: I can't wait too, love. I heard you work extra hard for it, I can't wait to see what you got planned.

I gave her a kiss.

Chloe: You should get some rest. I'll be back at our dorm after practice.

Red: Bye-bye.

Red waves as I go in the gym. I follow Red as she goes to sit on a bench. I tried to go behind her, but I could only see her back.

Red: I hope she likes my surprise, I don't know how she'll react... I'm kinda scared to do this.

A moment of silence passed.

Red: I love Chloe, so much... she's the best person I've ever met. I don't think I could live without her. I don't want to live without her.

I can see she's holding something in her hands, like a small book or something. She then got up putting the item in her pocket. She is heading back to the dorm. We'll that's was adorable to hear but nothing that would help me. I guess I'll have to wait til something else happens. Maybe it's something that happens during the date? Hmm, I don't even have  a clue what could go wrong. We both seem excited about it. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. I then noticed Mona standing beside me.

Mona: Why are you behind a bush? Wait, aren't you supposed to be at sword and shield practice?

I looked up at her, shocked. I stood up.

Chloe: shhh, Mona, it's me from the past.... I can't be seen.

I try to crouch behind the bush again.

Mona: Wait, you time traveled? Where's past Red then?

She said, looking around.

Chloe: I came alone.

Mona: But you guys promised you would always go together no matter what. You guys even added that to your magical promise thing....

Chloe: Well, we didn't do that yet in my timeline, so.

Mona: Oh wow, do what day are you from?

Chloe: like less than 2 weeks into the school year.

Mona looked at me, shocked.

Mona: First Red, now you? This must be something more important then.

Chloe: Yeah, it is, but I still haven't figured out what happened yet.
