part 33 - The Magical Promise

Chloe pov:

After practice and hearing Red's confirmation on the magical promise, we then had to decide what we even wanted our promises to be. We know it has to be mutual, so we're gonna be asking a lot of questions and talking to figure out which ones we want. We decided to think of what we personally wanted and talk about it after supper. We ended up napping til supper time. This time, we actually fixed our hair before heading to eat. Once at our table enjoying our food, a few students came up to us.

Student: Hey Chloe and Red. Is it true yall are getting married?

Red: Chloe wanna answer that?

I turn to the student.

Chloe: Not for a couple of years. I don't think.

Student: Cool, I just wanted to make sure cause some students were talking about that. We know not to judge from your presentation. So we figured we would ask.

Chloe: Well, that's very nice of you to ask before assuming, but yeah, at some point, I'm not fully sure when it'll happen.

And I waved them goodbye.

Leah: Well, at least their nice. So what have you guys been up to lately.

I look at Red she looks at Leah before turning to Leah to respond.

Red: Sometimes this week, Chloe and I will do the magical promise thing.

Jack: Isn't that like permanent?

We nod.

Red: But we are sure and ready as ever. We just need to decide what these promises will actually be.

Mona: I can't wait to see it it'll be so cute.

So after chatting for supper, we we once again in our dorms. We decided to sit on the floor with pillows to talk. I let Red go first.

Red: So, for my promise, I want us to promise to each other to always be honest with each other.

Chloe: And for mine, I want us to promise to each other to always listen to each other no matter what. 

Red nods. I can tell she's still a little nervous about this. I crawled to her and hugged her.

Chloe: we don't have to do this if you don't want to. I won't be mad if you change your mind.

She hugs me back.

Red: I want to do this. I want you to be mine.

I couldn't help but awe. After hugging.

Red: Should we have a 3rd one?

Chloe: ok, I'll let you decide that one.

After thinking for a moment. Red finally got the courage to speak her heart.

Red: I want us to always trust each other, no matter what. Trust is something I don't do easily. I'd really want us to have that if we could.

Chloe: we will. It'll be the first one we do, ok?

She nods.

Chloe: Well, talk to Mal and Evie after school tomorrow about it.

So, it's the next day. It was finally time to talk to Mal and Evie. We asked Uma this morning, and she said to come back after school. We knocked on her office door.

Uma: Come in!

Once opening the door, we saw Mal and Evie on the couch both facing us.

Mal: Come take a seat, please.
