Part 54 - Cinderellasburg

Chloe pov:

It's been a few days since Christmas, and it was making to see Red enjoy all her gifts, but I want to show her what Cinderellasburg is all about. It's still early morning, and I'm holding her in my arms. The sun is shiny in my room. I tried to stay still, but Red started to move. She dug her face in my chest, not wanting the sun to hit her face. I then pat the back of her head.

Red: It's too early to be awake.... 

Chloe: it's almost 10 am.

Red: It feels like 7...

Chloe: wanna make a deal?... we cuddle for 10 more minutes, and then we go and see Cinderellasburg.

Red: Sure, ok. 

I wrap the blankets, getting us cozy again. I love Red's weight on me. I feel so nice. I can't get enough of it. Soon, we got up and got dressed before heading outside.

Red: So what do we do first?

Chloe: wanna meet my horse?

Red: the one you were telling me about?

Chloe: Yeah, I figured you could meet him. He's over there at the stables.

Red pov:

She then points at a barn as we walk. Once in, I heard a loud noise and jumped on Chloe.

Chloe: woah, easy there, that's just the sound a horse makes.

She places me down, holding my hand as she brings me closer to the sound. I then see a huge animal. I back up as Chloe, let's go of my hand, and stand beside the massive beast.

Chloe: This is Cloud, it's very nice.

Red: That's a horse?

Chloe: You're scared of a horse but not the jabberwocky? You're a strange girl.

I then slowly got closer to it. I put my hand out, and the horse puts it nose in my palm. It was very soft.

Chloe: Awe, he likes you...

Red: he's not too scary now.

Chloe: I'm glad you like him.... maybe later you can watch me ride him.

Red: You ride these things?

I say shocked, but Chloe giggles.

Chloe: Yes, it's very common here in Cinderellasburg to ride horses... we like to limit the fuel consumption so we go more old school unless needed. Here, why don't we go to my nearby town. There's lots of cute cafes and such maybe we can eat lunch there.

Red: So how we go get there?

Chloe: we can take Cloud. Here lemme get him ready and we can go together.

After watching Chloe get all sorta of things and puts them on the horse, she then gets on it.

Chloe: See, now u try.

She then gives me a hand up, and I get kn the horse behind her.

Chloe: This might be a little scary for you at first. You can wrap your arms around my waist if you need.

She then gently started getting it to walk. I got a little spooked and tightly grabbed Chloe.

Chloe: Are you ok? We can use the car if u really want to.

Red: No, no, I'm fine... I just need to get used to it.

We then slowly and gently made our way into town. The town l9oks very cute and most of the houses a d building kinda l9oked like cottages. We could see people waving at us, and we waved back at them, too. We then stopped in front of this pretty restaurant. We got off the horse and got sat down next to the window. Looking at the menu, there were so many options that looked so good.

Red: Is there anything with strawberries here? I'm craving strawberries.

She then looked at the menu and found something.

Chloe: strawberry crepes with chocolate, I think you'll love it.... I'll probably have the pancakes.

So we ordered our food and while we were waiting and Chloe was talking about the history of Cinderellasburg. She told about how her family became the royals here and everything. It was fun to learn more of chloes life and where she grew up. There's a lot here that is different from Wonderland and Auradon. It's like every little kingdom here has their own style. I love it. She talked about how here they love the color blue and gold. Most people in town also seem very nice and also like the colors. After chatting some more, we got our food. I look down to see this thing on my plate that kinda looked like a flat pancake thing with chocolate and strawberries inside. I took a big and it was like a dream. It tasted so heavenly.

Red: Wow, this is really good.

Chloe: I knew you would like it.

I ate the whole thing because it was just so good. After that, Chloe wanted to show me her favorite store in her town. It was a cute decorations store with a whole lot of things you can put around the house and such. It kinda looked like the store for the gifts we bought for Christmas but felt more cozy. We walked around looking at all the cute animal statues and woodwork. Most things I've seen in Wonderland felt more like they were made of metal. We bought a few that we found pretty. I got a statue of a cool red bird while Chloe bought a woodwork statue of a deer? Apparently, there's a lot of deer that lives here. Once done out shopping, we headed back to the barn, and Chloe then got our stuff in the castle before we headed to a bigger building. We got in, and there was lots of dirt and sand everywhere.

Red: What is this place?

Chloe: This is where I like to ride my horse in the wintertime since mostly everything is covered in snow. Horses do a lot better in soft soil.

I then stand back as I watch Chloe gets her horse to walk then trof to then run. She was going so farm around and around. She then jump over these fences that were near the middle of the big building. It was like watching a show of some sort. It was so epic to see. She then got off.

Chloe: How was that?

Red: that was amazing, I mean the speed and those jumps were so fun to watch. I think it made you l99k that much prettier.

Chloe: thanks, I would rude more but I'm getting cold and I think we should head back inside.

I agreed and we put Cloud back in the stables before going back inside the castle where Chloe made us some hot chocolate.

Red: What else does your family do here?

Chloe: we play boardgames. Wanna try one?

Red: Sure.

Red gives me the hot chocolate and heads off to get stuff. I took a few sips as I wait sitting at this table. I see her come back with a bunch of boxes. She shows me all the different games and we chose one. She then explains the game and we played. We plays almost all the games she brought to thr table. The scores have been pretty even so far. I won one then Chloe won one too. I never really had many games to play with growing up so this was really fun. Most of these games require 2-4 people to play and let's just say I was mostly play 1 players games. After winning again Chloe got us to watch a movie they made here in Cinderellasburg. It was a lovely movie about a young couple falling in love as they raise a baby deer together because the mother couldn't raise it very well with its struggles. I might have shed a tear or two at the end when they had to let the deer go back into the wild. Chloe saw me cry and hugged me as eh rubbed my back in circles. We then fell asleep on the couch, Chloe being the big spoon as her arm was wrapped around my body holding me in tight. I was holding her hand as I slept to. We were out like the light once again. Cinderellasburg is honestly one of my favorite places I have visited yet so far. I hope I get to see a deer in real life one day. Maybe some more animals I've never heard of before.
