Part 58 - Queendom

Red pov:

Now that Chloe and I are officially married, it was time to move in together and become the new queens of Wonderland. We'll get settled then have the ceremony. My mom was so happy that this day finally came. She loves being queen, but she's even happier that it's now my turn. She got us a blue and red limo it was beautiful. One side had diamonds, and the other had hearts, and we even added out mark design on the hood, too. I loved how we customized it. My mom insisted we moved my room to hers since it's meant for the queen. I wasn't gonna go for it til Chloe kinda convinced me with all the ideas she wanted to add to it.

Red: But where will you go, mom?

QoH: Oh sweetie, don't worry about me. I got my own cozy home. I've been waiting to move into?

Red: You'll move out?

QoH: Why, yes? You seem upset.

Red: I thought you would still live in the castle or something. I don't want you to go... not yet, at least. I just got you.

QoH: Awe, that's very sweet dear.... what if I stay here for the winters but go to my house during the summer. It's not even that far, if I'm being honest. I think it's about a 20-minute drive or so.

Red: I guess that isn't so far. I just don't want you to leave me so soon.

Chloe: Your mom wants to live in her new house. You should respect her decision, love.

Red: I know.... I'm sorry, if you really want to live there you should be able to go whenever you want.

QoH: Thanks, dear. I'm not in a rush, so I don't mind staying here for a while more.

I then hugged my mom.

QoH: So what's the big decoration plans you guys had?

Chloe: we wanted to keep it similar to what is it now, but add a pop of blue.

QoH: That would be lovely. I can't wait to see the transformation. Wonderland has always been very red, but some blue would definitely make it look more unique.

Red: This is the first step to being queen's together. We got a lot ahead of us for sure. We need to get this place decorated, painted, etc. Then we need the ceremony. Then, it is boring things like rules and laws. I'm not looking forward to that.

QoH: Why? You get to make them....

Red: I'll let Chloe do that.

Chloe: ok, well, whenever you wanna add or change one, just let me know. 

Red: Not gonna happen. I already know your goody two shoe self gonna add all the right ones.

I say as I kiss Chloe before she playfully pushes me away. 

Chloe: Let's get ready for the ceremony, yeah?

I roll my eyes as we head off to get ready. Once all dressed up, we then headed to court. The place we used to punish people. I've always seen it as a bad place... maybe one day I'll see it differently. Chloe walked behind and stopped beside me, holding my hand.

Chloe: Everything is going to be ok. I promise.

I smile at her. It's like she can read my mind. We stood at the entrance waiting for the ceremony to start.
