in which y/n and colby get in an argument while colby's drunk and he interferes girls night
todays been a long day, and you're excited to go to Sam's for pizza night! It was the perfect way to unwind after quite a day. friends, laughter, and pizza ahh perfect. you and colby walk in casually and it's busier than usual which is weird but the room buzzed with conversation, giving the atmosphere the same cozy vibe.
You lean over to Colby "hey what's with all the extra people tn?" "I guess Sam invited a few more people...go socialize baby and please make sure you eat something and don't just drink tn, we don't need a repeat of last week" he says smirking. "Yeah yeah ok" you say, rolling your eyes and walking over to Kat and Tara who are sitting on the couch and getting cozy.
"WHATS UP GIRL!" tara yells "y/n!" kat squeals and moves over for you to sit in between her and Tara. "Hey pretty ladies," you say happily, "who the hell are all these people?" "I was gonna ask the same thing. it hasn't been this crowded since og trap house" tara says. you three chat for awhile like always and devyn joins eventually. After yapping a bit you notice a girl walking in. she isn't just a normal girl, she's one of the fakest girls you all know, she tries to fit in and it always seems like she's using all the boys for fame. "what the fuck is Kate doing here?" tara says
You turn and roll your eyes "10 bucks Brennen invited her... that guy wants any female that breathes" you all watch her walk in and over to where you're sitting. "hi girls" she says all fake and smiley. You all mumble your hellos and she goes off. "I don't understand why anyone would want to hangout with her; she's so irritable," Devyn says. "She came out with me Sam and Reggie once and even Reggie wanted to walk off a bridge" kat says rolling her eyes. You all go back to your conversation until Tara speaks up. "Um...y/n ...might want to turn around"
You turn around and your eyes widen as you see Kate talking to Colby and brennen. she's fake giggling and you see her playfully slap colby's chest "that's it." you say, throwing your arms up and standing up. usually, you couldn't care less about her but she's done this one too many times. "Wait wait wait wait" Kat and Devyn say, pulling their arms back "no! i can't stand her" you grunt
You walk over and stand behind Kate who's blocking your now tipsy boyfriend. "Excuse me" you say sharply and she turns around "oh hey girl" "can you move so I can talk to my boyfriend" "of course" she fake smiles "all yours buttercup"
"colby what the fuck" you say angirly "w- what?" he slurred and you roll your eyes "you told ME not to get drunk and now look at you! you know nobody likes that psycho freak why are you letting her talk to you" "who? kate?" he stuttered "no the fucking easter bunny, OF COURSE KATE. you know how i feel about her and you continue to let her use all of you" you point to brennen and then jake and then sam "i don't appreciate this bro"
You storm away angrily "babe wait-" Colby goes to go after you but you stop him. ¨Don't. have fun with your boys.¨ "But baby-" "Colby Brock." He sighs as u full name him and watches you walk back to the couch. "Which one of you guys isn't going home with your boyfriend tonight?" Kat speaks up. "I mean I was gonna stay here but you're literally across the hall from me" "do u wanna sleepover? And let our boyfriends have a sleepover here since they're practically married?" "That bad huh?" Devyn says. "Oh yeah I'm not dealing with his drunk ass tn when he tries to be all cuddly"
"I'm down. the vibes are off since the psycho showed up" tara says, standing up "okay i'll come too" dev said and kat nods. Everyone agrees to go to Jake's to have a slumber party. When Tara hugs Jake goodbye she reaches into his back pocket and gets his key. "Me and the gals are tired and we wanna chil, can we use your apartment?" she asks jake "yeah considering you already took my key, i'll help clean up and talk to the guys k"
You walk up to a still only tipsy Colby. "I'm sleeping over Jake's tonight" "why" "because I want to spend time with the girls" you lie so he doesn't freak out. "But ...what about cuddles?" he pouts. Oh yes how could you forget when colbys drunk he turns into a snuggle bug. He's down to cuddle always but when he's drunk he likes to be held. "Sorry colbs" "are u mad at meeee" he pouts out. "Little bit babe...I love you I'll see you tmrw..don't do anything stupid" you walk away without a hug or a kiss and Colby looks down at his feet sad. You could swear u see his eyes welling up but regardless you walk out of the apartment and into yours to get your things and over to Jake's.
As you settle into Jake's apartment with the girls, you try to push the frustration out of your mind but it's hard to shake off how Colby was acting. Even though you know he's tipsy, it still stings that he let Kate get under your skin like that. Tara hands you a cozy blanket as you settle into the couch. "don't let it get to you girl" devyn says, sensing your mood you nod, though your thoughts are still with him "i know it's just ugh she pisses me off" kat gets under the blanket next to you "i get it but tonight is about us okay? let's just chill and try to have some fun"
You all cuddle up under the blankets and turn on mean girls but mostly just yap over it. About an hour later your phone starts ringing. You look down and it's a facetime call from Jake so you answer. "Hello?" "Y/n you need to come pick up your boyfriend" "he's a grown man he can handle himself" "no y/n he's crying and clinging onto Corey. Something about his "snuggle time."" "Let me see" Jake flips the camera to Corey and there he is. Your grown ass adult boyfriend laying on Corey's shoulder gripping his arm crying quietly. you quickly take a screenshot picture. "Try and get him in the apartment and into bed. I'll be there soon. Just tell him I'm there and he'll get up." "Ok see ya soon" "see ya"
you hesitate for a moment. debating between enjoying your girls night and going back to take care of colby. but before you can make a decision, kat interrupts your thoughts, she's been listening to the call that whole time. "just bring him here. we can make him part of the girls night" tara and dev both nod in agreement. already anticipating how funny colby would be. "Yeah he can watch mean girls with us and maybe join the gossip" tara giggles "alright I'll be right back. but if he cries im taking him back"
You get up and walk over to Sam's apartment and before you can knock on the door Sam opens it. "ohmygody/nthankgodyourhereicantdealwithhiswhininganymore" Sam says all in one breath. "is he really that bad?" "He hasn't stopped crying". You walk over to the living room behind them and see Colby all up on Corey. "I want y/n ..." "dude relax she'll be here soon" "she left me alone..." you walk over and kneel down Infront of him.
you tap colby's shoulder "baby!" he mumbles, wrapping his arms around you sloppily "i missed you" you roll your eyes but hug him back. you've only been gone for 30 minutes at most. "Babe, I'm sorry for making you mad" he cried into your neck and you two collapsed on the floor "it's okay Colby, I'm not mad anymore. that girl just really pisses me off." he sniffles into your neck and you hold him tighter "i just wanted a hug and you left" you giggle in the moment "i didn't leave i just needed to chill with the girls" you say, rubbing his back soothingly "let's just get you to bed k" he sniffles one last time and nods before you help him up then walk him slowly to jake's apartment.
"I wanna go home ..and cuddle with just you" "you don't wanna hang out with the girls?" "Just you ..." "ok baby let's go" you help him to your apartment and get him into bed. You slide off his jeans so he's comfy in his boxers and T-shirt while you go change into shorts and one of his hoodies. When you get back he's laying in bed sniffing again. "Baby what's wrong" you ask with a giggle
Colby looks up at you with glossy eyes, his lower lip quivering "i- i ruined your night" he mumbles, voice thick with guilt "baby, you didn't ruin anything" you pull him into your chest "i was upset earlier but that's not your fault. that chick just got under my skin and i needed to cool off" you reassure him. "But you were so excited for girls' night and now I'm the reason you're stuck here" he sniffles. you shake your head softly "being here with you isn't so bad.. the girls are across the hall anyways..." b- but i want you to stay with me." he mumbles "okay then i'll just tell the girls to come over here and we can have girls night here, is that okay" you ask him, pulling away from the hug and he nods in response then you pull out your phone to facetime kat, thankfully, they agreed and where at colby's place in no time
