in honor of hellweek 2024 and spooky season 🎉 idk why but yall seem to like my spooky stories and honestly they're the hardest to write so i apologize for the lack of creepy stuff
in which you're at a spooky hotel with the boys and something targets you and kat
⚠️ i don't think there's any tws i just wanted to inform ya that this is more intense than what im used to writing and its long as hell so enjoy
sam parks the car in the sketchy parking lot and you already feel uncomfy. today, you're with the boys and kat to stay the night at a haunted hotel for a video. the trip was very last minute, so unplannned that you haven't got the time to do your research.
you all get out of the car, colby takes your hand and squeezes it reassuringly. "you okay?" he whispers
"i don't know about this"
"it's okay" he says softly, kissing the top of your head "i won't let anything happen to you"
you all check in and meet the tour guide, george. he gives you a tour around the place and tells you short scary stories about certain rooms in this place. after the tour, you guys explored everywhere. even though you felt off, nothing happened. only the rem pod beeps. you can tell the boys were disappointed but it kinda made you feel a bit safer.
the night carried on and you finally get your stuff from the car to put in your rooms. "i can't believe these rooms only have one bed sam" kat scoffed
"everything was booked bro" said colby
"so you expect us to sleep alone in a haunted hotel?" kat asked
"i think you'll be fine, maybe you two can have your own camera and ask questions around your room, and colby and i can do the same. but if you're still scared, one of us can swap rooms"
you all agree. sam and colby leave you with a camera and a couple flashlights then they head off to their room.
"why did i agree to this im scared" kat whined
"it's okay. i felt uneasy at first but i really think we'll be okay. if i didn't think we were safe we would all be sleeping in the same room. i'm just suprised we haven't caught anything"
"i hope you're right. you better not jinx us" kat says
you and kat get ready for bed before starting your mini investigation. you both sit on the floor and start asking the room questions
"hello?" kat asks
"is there anything that wants to talk to us?" you add on
nothing.
"if there's anything here can you give us a sign? maybe tap one of these flashlights?" you ask and just then, the flashlight by kat turns on. your jaw drops and you flip your head to the camera
"uhh we come in peace. we just wanna know the history behind these rooms. could you help us out?" kat says softly then the flashlight turns on and off twice
"okay two for yes, one for no. does that sound good?" you say out loud then the light flashes twice again and you nod
kats wide eyes meet yours, and you can see the fear starting to creep in. she shifts uncomfortably but tries to stay calm, though the way she's gripping her knees suggests she's more terrified than she's letting on.
"uhh, okay... are you the only spirit in this room?" kat asks, her voice trembling slightly.
the flashlight stays dark for a few moments, making the silence stretch uncomfortably. but just as you're about to sigh in relief, it flickers once, then again.
