"Currently I'm here live at the scene where the hero Misty faces off with a newly appeared villain!" Shouted the reporter from the helicopter above. Below, a face-off between the up-and-coming hero Misty, and a powerful woman who had the power to control 'Black Magic' was underway.

Misty, sporting her confident expression, quickly jumped into action. Her binding smoke shot from above in an attempt to hold the villain down. However, the enemy was equally agile as she dodged by jumping onto lamp post from lamp post with the utmost balance.

"Get back here!" Misty yelled. Immediately, she ran up the concrete street using a layer of dense smoke below her to increase her elevation with each step. Now that she was above the villain, she used the high ground as an advantage and anticipated the next move of the fleeing criminal. Right there!

Accompanied by a huge burst of smoke trailing behind her, Misty plunged down, encapsulating her in a smoke cage.

"How 'bout you drop the goods you stole, sweetheart?" Misty grunted as she pressed her knee down on the back of the villain's back.

The villain grunted, straining to turn her neck as she groaned, "You wouldn't understand. Heroes could never." A dark tendril seeped through her clothes as Misty narrowed her eyes.

"Just surrender. Your quirk, Black Magic, it would have been a formidable power if you used it for the right purpose..." Misty murmured.

Angered by the hero's statement, she shrieked, "You don't know anything! I need this money for my daughters waiting for me at home. You heroes never even have to worry about that, don't you?! You all just prance around, in the glory of the people, in piles of wealth, adoration, power!" The villain began to cry as a wave of emotions overwhelmed her. Unexpectedly, her voice suddenly took a sharp turn, as if digitally distorted, "You don't know what it's like to suffer, human!"

Misty took a step away as more authorities came with handcuffs, ready to detain the criminal. "She doesn't seem right," she whispered, raising a hand to her lips. She watched as they began to roughly hold her down, struggling to keep her still. However, her behavior was erratic, as if her limbs were being contorted into orientations that were not physically possible without dislocating her bones.

"Hey! Stop! There's something wrong!" Misty yelled, pushing through the officers. When she faced the woman once again, there was a clear, distinct difference about her now. The sclera of her eyes was now black and prominent veins looked on the verge of popping out of her temple.

The hero turned her head to a medical emergency responder standing nearby. "You! Come here, now!"

"This body...It can't keep up with me either," the villain strained in between convulsions and foam pooling in her mouth. "I have to...find...a different host."

Suddenly, the villain's mouth went agape as black liquid dripped out. This viscous mixture pooled around her and consumed anything in its path. Thinking quickly, authorities were able to hastily push aside any civilians whereas Misty sprang into action to barricade the unknown substance.

She successfully pushed most of the biohazard away albeit for the fact that this river seemed to never end. The villain, now shriveled, had begun to melt into the mixing pot of goo, a putrid smell emanating from her original form. Soon the hazardous river became an ocean, but it didn't act like water, it was contained and didn't seep past the three meters radius from the original host.

"You..." The dark pool said, forming a tsunami-like form in front of the hero. "There's a power, but it's not you specifically... It's coming inside of you. Just what are you?"

Dread washed over her, that pit in her stomach was not that of fear, but a small child she had just found out about. Not willing to falter, she chose to remain calm. "I have no idea what you're talking about. Just who, or maybe what are you?"

"Yes..." The being slurred, its shadow encompassing the hero and those around her. "Yes, the thing in you. It will make the perfect host..." And as soon it had finished the sentence, it lunged at Misty, successfully entering through her navel.

A shriek was heard from all across the street, one of Japan's top rising heroes now hunched over. Her arms hugging her stomach as she yelled for the ambulance. "...My baby, please save my baby!" She yelled over and over. The big news of her second child had come out in a way she wasn't expecting. She hadn't even told her husband of the news, and now here he was. His eyes in shock as he was witnessing the love of his life and his future child already hanging around death's door.

The hospital doors bursted open with an incapacitated female laid out on a stretcher. Doctors all bustled around her, unsure of what kind of quirk hit her. An individual with the quirk to get a microscopic glance and uncover discrepancies in the body couldn't, for the life of them, find any trace of the black goop that entered her body.

"You have to stay conscious!"

"Hiyori! You.." Oda murmured from behind the crowd of doctors, "Please live, both of you."

After that one eventful day, Hiyori was now on strict monitoring. Months have now gone by, by now she was in her eighth month of her pregnancy. With the encouragement of Oda, she was also forced into regular check-ups.

"I don't know. I'm still worried, what if that creature really hurt her?" Hiyori grimaced as she felt a pain near her stomach.

Oda placed his palm on the back of her shoulder, "No matter what, I'll be by your side."

"And me too!" Hayato chirped up from his mother's side.

She smiled softly, caressing her stomach, "Thank you two."

"So, Yuzuki, that's how you bound me?" f/n asked as she was traversing through the woods. The demon agreed in response, continuing to reminisce.

"Indeed, and different from your mother's expectations, I did not hurt you. I'd argue I made you better! Haha!"

The girl rolled her eyes, grunting as she hopped over a fallen trunk. "Why did you transport us in the middle of the wilderness instead of somewhere closer to a city?"

The demon scoffed, "You think after being repressed for so long, my power would be at my full potential? Tsk, tsk. It takes time for greatness!"

"I think you're actually just weaker than what you claim." f/n retorted, "I can't even find a single road here. It's been hours."

Yuzuki laughed, knowing that it wasn't putting any effort into helping out in the search. "Oh dear, don't complain when I saved your ass. Move along!"

"I hate you."

"How proposterous! You're stuck with me till you die! Remember that!"

"..."

"Don't ignore me, you feeble human!"
