"Manners: The art of smiling and nodding when all you want to do is slap that bitch in the face."
Author's Pov:
The morning sun streamed through the curtains, waking you up with a sharp headache that pulsed insistently against your temples. You grabbed your head as a groan escaped your lips, your eyes fluttered open, blinking away the blur, as you took in your familiar surroundings. The last clear memory you had was stepping into the club, and everything else was a hazy blur, you don't even remember coming back home, or how you ended up in your bedroom.
With a resigned sigh, you swung your legs over the side of the bed and forced yourself up, the cool floor touched your feet sending you a slight shiver. After a quick shower, the warm water easing the tightness in your muscles, you slipped into comfortable clothes. The clock on your bedside table read 9:00 AM. Feeling hungry you made your way downstairs, the familiar smell of breakfast wafting through the air.
As you stepped into the kitchen, the dining table was set. Just as you settled into a chair Mr. Kim entered the room. He took a seat across from you, a knowing smile playing on his lips.
The tension in the air was palpable, and a servant delivered your meal before quietly slipping out, leaving only the two of you. The atmosphere was awkward as silence hung between you. You reached for your fork, but just as you were about to take a bite, Mr. Kim broke the silence.
