"IT TAKES A MONSTER TO DESTROY A MONSTER."
Author's Pov:
You sat in the back of the police car, your leg throbbing with pain as blood soaked through the tied cloth on your thigh. The stab wound was deep. The rain was still flowing and few minutes you were able to see the hospital lights loomed closer, harsh and sterile, as the vehicle screeched to a halt.
The paramedics reassured you that the wound wasn't fatal. As soon as you were treated, the handcuffs clicked back onto your wrists. You were escorted out of the hospital, followed by two officers. The cool night air hit you like a wave, but it wasn't as cold as the stares waiting outside. A swarm of reporters and cameramen crowded the entrance, their microphones thrust forward as questions fired at you like bullets.
Reporter 1: Miss Y/N, why did you kill Lee Jin-hyuk?
Reporter 2: Do you regret what you've done? Can you tell us what happened?
The police officers shielded you, pushing through the chaos, flashes from cameras blinded you, but you kept your head down, your jaw clenched. You said nothing, the weight of the situation too heavy for words.
You were taken back to the police car and taken to the police station. Inside the police station, the interrogation room was stark and cold, the fluorescent light buzzing faintly above. You sat at the metal table, your hands cuffed, your face pale but resolute. An officer across from you leaned forward, his eyes scanning you, trying to read you.
