"Murder is like potato chips; you can't stop with just one."
Y/n's Pov:
The photo trembled in my hands as I stared at it, my heart raced. In the background stood Jin-hyuk oppa dad's car, the interesting thing about it was the Snake and Sword symbol emblazoned on the side, it seemed ominous, almost mocking me. I scoffed at the thought, surprised by the connection, but there was no time for curiosities. The weight of the image pressed down on me.
I held the photo tightly, my breath quickening with each passing moment, I felt a rush of frustration and fear. My emotions spiraled as I crumpled the photograph in my trembling hands. Suddenly, I bolted downstairs, desperate to escape this huge mansion. But every door and window was locked tight, I felt trapped, not just in this grand house but in the rapidly unraveling threads of my thoughts. Panic set in—I didn't even have my phone to call for help.
I sank onto a nearby sofa, running my fingers through my hair. A wave of emotions washed over me, and soon my eyes filled with tears. The photo felt hauntingly familiar; I had seen the very same photo in my family album. If only I'd taken the time to look at it more closely. If only I'd recognized the importance of the moment captured in that image. Perhaps then, I wouldn't be wrapped in this surreal nightmare.
My mind raced with questions tangled in uncertainty. Was it really Jin-hyuk oppa? Did he hurt Iseul unnie? But why would he do that? Or was it his father? What did his father have to do with my sister? My head was spinning with questions. I replayed memories of our childhood, we had grown up together, our families were very close. Had everything changed when we moved to Incheon? Had our sudden move been connected to this?
