"Do you miss it?"

Miraal asked as they were seated on a bench in the park. They were eating shawarma rolls. Irtaza glanced at her before asking

"Miss what?"

"Istanbul."

At her remark, he gave her his undivided attention. And softly nodded his head.

"Of course I do."

There was a serene smile on his face like he was reminiscing the time spent there.

"It's such a beautiful, magnificent city. The people there are very welcoming. It's such a fun place to live in."

He spoke with a tinge of proud in his voice. Miraal cheeks pulled up in a grin. She always thought of going to Istanbul. She always loves Turkey and it's cities. But Istanbul always had a special place in her heart.

Because her home is there.

"Do you wanna go back?"

She further asked. Irtaza looked at her

"Of course I do. But right now, I think I'll stick here."

She nodded. She likes these conversation. Just simple talk. No worries. No tension of the cases. Just them.

"If....what happened...hadn't happened. Would you have come back here?"

She asked the very question that was bugging her since the very day he arrived back in Pakistan. She knew he loves her. But there's a possibiltiy that he fell in love after coming here. But if things were different, would he have come? Would they be still sitting here enjoying the peaceful tranquility of the place?

Irtaza gazed at her before he held her hand tightly in his.

"Whatever would have happened, I would've find my way back to you. It was just a matter of when."

Those words brought Miraal the most heart contending peace ever. She believes him.

"Promise one thing, Irtaza..."

She turned serious. And it automatically made him alert too.

"Promise me that whatever will be the outcome, you'll come back to me. You'll find your way back to me. Promise me."

He knew why she was saying that. And he understand her concerns very well.

"I promise, love."

He kissed her forehead before they resumed eating their food. After a while, they finally decided to head back home. As they stood up to leave, Miraal felt eyes on her. She looked around but find no-one. It made her confused. She really felt like someone was watching them.

But maybe it was her hallucination. The past few days had been a rollercoaster ride. So, it might be that. They headed back to where they park the car. And she again felt like someone was watching them. This time the feeling more prominent. More real. She again looked here and there but the same result.

"Miraal, what happened?"

Irtaza's concerned voice pulled her out of the debacle and she replied

"I thought someone was watching us."

His eyebrows furrowed into confusion.

"Watching us?"

She nodded her head. He was suddenly on alert. He stood right infront of her shielding her.

"Miraal, go sit in the car."

She obliged before opening the door and sitting in. He turned around before instructing her
