Irtaza stopped the car at the front of the house. He turned his head towards Miraal before he softly spoke to her
"Look, I know it's not ideal. And I can't stop you from your work. But whatever I'm doing is for you. I don't want you to be hurt in anyway possible."
Her who was listening quietly to him nodded her head.
"Of course. I know."
She softly replied before passing him a small sweet smile. He was relieved. Atleast, Miraal was sensible enough to make out the situation.
"Aren't you going to come inside?"
She asked while gathering her bag. Irtaza glanced one look at the house before shaking his head.
"I had some work. I'll come later."
But there were worry marred over her face.
"Be careful, Irtaza."
He kissed her palms before assuring her
"I'll be careful. You too be."
She nodded her head before stepping out of the car and heading towards the house. As Irtaza saw her entering inside, he pulled the ignition and headed out of the premisis.
He called Arsalan through his car Bluetooth.
"Did you manage to capture him?"
There was silence on the other side for a few while before he heard Arsalan's deep voice
"Yes, I did. We're at the said location."
Irtaza disconnected the call before heading to the way they decided to meet afterwards.
It was a secluded industrial area. A company was working there few years ago but weng bankrupt and since then it was like this. Cold. Abandoned. Secluded. And it was a perfect place for their plan. Irtaza parked the car at a certain distance before stepping out.
He roamed his eyes around the surroundings making sure no-one saw him entering and headed inside the building. It was quite. Pure silence. So much silence he could even hear the crows cawing. He paid no heed to them and headed further into the building.
He finally reached a metal door through which he could hear the voices coming. He opened the door and it creaked before fully opening. His eyes connected with Arsalan and then to the man sitting at the chair. He passed Arsalan a satisfied smirk before walking towards the man sitting.
His hands were tied behind his back so that he didn't try anything funny.
"Well, well, Mr. Abrar Malik. The business lawyer. Or should I say the ex-con?"
Irtaza mused. Abrar's steel eyes bore daggers into him. But he wasn't affected in the least. He knew those looks all too well. He was accustomed to them now. The don't have any reaction on him anymore.
"Did I struck a nerve?"
He further fueled Abrar. Knowing all to well that Abrar was a egoistical person. He took every word straight to his heart. Or more like his non existent ego.
"What do you want?"
He spatted out the words. Irtaza's lips only conjured up into yet another smirk before he shook his head amusingly
"Nothing much. Just a few answers."
He started to walk around his chairs in circles. Abrar's eyes noticed his every move. That's the thing about Irtaza. Alot of people think he's an honest man with morals and law by his side. But sometimes in the deep darkness of world, he needs to wear his cape.
