------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was around close to six in the early morning. Since they were reaching end November, the early morning days were chilly. A cold chill could be felt when one wake up to do wudu to perform the fajr salah. Miraal was in the middle of praying. It always calmed her mind and soul. She felt so light weighted when praying.

It's like nothing harmful would touch her. She felt a safety around whenever she prayed. And the dead stillness of the day also brought her peace too. After finishing up her prayer, she did prayers. She asked for her mother's health. She even thanked the God Almighty because her father was given justice.

She was grateful for every best thing that happened the following last couple of months. She folded the prayer mat after praying. The bed was empty as Irtaza had gone to masjid (mosque) for prayer. He also had a habit of jogging too. She decided to recite The Holy Quran.

After an hour of recitation, she placed it at it's rightful place before undoing her scarf. She walked towards the balcony and opened the doors. The cool wind flowed over her face. She closed her eyes relishing in the feeling.
The wind kissing her cheeks. The sun wasn't out yet but there was hints of light.

It was a surreal moment. She loves sunrise. It meant new beginning. A new day. With alot of new adventures. And she reminences in that feeling. Cold warm hands wrapped around her waist hugging her from the back. She doesn't have to open her eyes to see who it was.

Her husband rested his chin on her shoulder. Gazing out together, no words left their lips. They just relish in the feeling of being together. After a few minutes, he finally mumbled

"Are you going to the company today?"

A grim expression took over her face. Sadly, she did have to go to the company today. She needed to submit her resignation letter by herself. It was a ridiculous rule she had to follow through. And although, she doesn't want to step a single foot back into that forsaken building, unfortunately she was no exception to that rule.

She discreetly nodded her head. His arms tightened around her instinctively. He wasn't in the favour of going back there again. It was logical too. Going back to the lions den is stupidity at its best. But alas, she had to do that stupidity.

"I will be fine."

She squeezed his arms that were wrapped at her front. Her voice assuring. She doesn't want to worry him. He was already so tensed by all the on going fiasco.

"I won't linger there. I'll just hand in my letter and came back. It will be a matter of five minutes only."

Yeah, it would be hardly. But there was still a looming sense of dread inside Irtaza's mind. But he wasn't dumb to voice it out. Like his wife, he also doesn't want to worry her for no particular reason. Maybe, he's just paranoid. Maybe, Rohaan won't be stupid enough to hurt Miraal.

It would only aggravate his own situation. Right now, Irtaza and Arsalan were nipping at the chief prosecutor to arrest Rohaan too. But even after seeing the ample amount of evidences, he was refusing. Why so?

Courtesy to their secret investigation on the man himself, they found that Rohaan once helped the Chief's daughter that was trapped into a scandal. And since then, he've been loyal to that piece of garbage. But he will come around. They were all pressuring him.

"I'll accompany you."

He suggested. A smile covered her face. She turned around still in his embrace. She cupped his cheeks with her soft hands before she explained

"You can't. You had to be present during the interrogation, remember?"

The damn interrogation. Apparently, Demir was ready enough to share few more details. And since Irtaza was the key person in everything, he needed to be present there. No-one know Demir better than him. And if he tries to cover up information, Irtaza sure would catch it.
