"Do what you think is best. Don't let the doubts got the best of you."

Those were the exact words Almirah had spoken to Miraal when she first told her about the proposition given by Rohaan Demirhani. Miraal was skeptical and couldn't shake off the odd feeling after meeting him. He seemed mysterious.

Calculated. Hidden.

She wanted to know more about him. But not before she told everything to her mother. So, when they reached back home afterwards, the first thing she did was to tell her mother about all the fiasco that happened. It had altered her mind. This man came out of nowhere and offered such a tempting proposition. He must've known that she was struggling to find a job.

He knew everything about her. And that's what made her feel suspicious the more. He doesn't seem like a bad guy given his persona and the way he was dressed. But that's what the issue is. He wasn't a good guy either. She doesn't know what label to give him. He fell in the intermediate category. Not so bad. No so good.

But after sharing everything with mother, Almirah was more or less happy about it. She said that she had heard about him. He studied law from Turkey and came back here to upload his father's legacy. He's known everywhere. He's a renowned lawyer with thousands of cases under his belt. Rohaan Demirhani wasn't an ordinary man.

Miraal listened to her mother keenly. Almirah also mentioned that Taimur was also trying to meet him in person. But he never got the chance too. In the last few months before everything went down, Taimur was keen on meeting the great Rohaan Demirhani. Sources claimed that he's not in one place for a long time. He likes to travel and he's always wandering around in the world.

After all this information, Miraal doesn't know what to do. She did a thorough search background on him via internet. She's not sure how authentic the sources were but atleast she got what she wanted to know. Rohaan Demirhani is indeed a well famous and well known lawyer slash businessman. He's the sole heir of his father's mills business. He also owned his law firm "Demirhani Corp".

He's exceptionally good in his work. He's known to never lost a case. He's brilliant in his work. He got the best lawyer skills. He's so prim and proper. Almost too good. But she wasn't judgemental. Isn't it good that atleast one lawyer here is honest to his job and country? She felt such an ounce of respect for the man. He's diligent. Hard working and honest. Everything today's lawyer lacks.

She also knew another man who's just like him. A force to be reckon with.

But she doesn't let her mind wander to the topics that not necessary anymore. She searched some more about his company and law firm. And indeed there were interviews going on for the next intern batch in his company. It would be a great chance for Miraal to reopen her father's case if she got the job in the biggest law firm in the country.

The thought of giving her father his long denied justice filled her with another level of excitement. A surge of thrill passed through her body before she grabbed her phone. She dialed the number she got from the internet and let the phone ring.

Her feet were tapping on the floor in anticipation. She hoped she's not late. After the third ring, someone picked up the call.

"Hello, Demirhani Corps". How many I help you?"

A strict professional voice greeted on her the other side. She cleared her throat before speaking her query

"Hello, I'm Miraal. I wanted to ask if the interview for the interns still going on?"

There was a pause on the other side for a while. Miraal thought that the other person had disconnected hadn't she heard the voice again after a moment

"Yes, they're still going on."
