The nightmare was a never ending cycle.

The Next Morning,

Denki woke up with a start to the sound of loud knocking on his door.

Denki pinches his arm to confirm if he was awake.

Yes, he is awake indeed and breathing at a normal rate after having a creepy nightmare.

Denki grumbles and rubs his eyes until stars appear in front of his vision.

He gets ups from the floor and mumbles, "Hai hai, I am coming"?. Trudges out of the mess he made in his room in his little panic episode.

He was careful while stepping over his strewn stuff around the room.

Maybe he should ask his friends to help him in organising his room?.

Denki unlocks his door and opens to meet Bakugou Katsuki's scowling face.

The ash blonde boy stood in front of him and  stared at him by looking up and down at him and saying quizzically with one eyebrow raised, "You slept in your uniform?".

Denki was already feeling grumpy from the lack of not getting proper sleep for a few days and he replied in his snarky tone, "Yea~ it's the new trend.. you did not know?".

Denki now turns around to close his dorm door only for his wrist to get caught by Bakugou Katsuki  who stares at it for a few seconds and clicks his tongue and says, "You have gotten thin again..freshen up and get dressed sunshine and you're not missing breakfast today".

Denki blinks and says, "Yes mother" and immediately closes the door before Bakugou Katsuki could explode sparks in front of his face at the reply.

After changing into a clean uniform which smelled of freshly done laundry and not of blood and sadness.

Denki heads downstairs to the dining hall and sits with a quiet kouda and eats his breakfast while being aware of  the watchful eyes of Bakugou Katsuki who stared at him like an eagle from the Bakusquad table and Denki also felt worried glances thrown is his way but he avoided to meet that person's gaze again and that was Izuku Midoriya.

For now Denki decided to keep some distance from Izuku Midoriya for the time being. He can't divert the boy's attention from saving little Eri-chan by bringing it back to him.

Denki sighs he might melt into a shadow cause right now he should not interfere with anyone's lives as saving Eri-chan mission should take place normally as possible without his involvement and he too should start focusing on his own shit for the time being.

His classmates were again excitedly discussing about the Hero Work Studies programme as today Aizawa sensei would give them the final verdict on it.

Denki sighs into his palm it was the rowdy ones who were the most excited for it.

Today class 1-A was complete as Bakugou Katsuki too had joined  the regular classes after his four days of house arrest.

Aizawa sensei tells them that Principal Nezu has given them the green light to participate in the Hero Work Studies despite the fact most of the teachers including All Might were against the idea of the first years joining the hero work studies.

This causes the whole class 1-A to scream in delight that they will get to experience something new again.

While Denki's thoughts were, 'Ah bless the Rodent. Maybe I should visit  him to have some herbal tea'.

Denki hums at his thoughts while not noticing how Aizawa sensei silenced his friends by using his quirk.

Then Aizawa sensei continues by saying that no doubt they have been given the green signal but  they will only get to work at an office which has a good fast track record only. This precaution was taken  due to the recent villain attacks and mass media criticism and the school can't take further risk of putting the first years in danger again as they are under the watchful eye of the public at the moment.

Hearing this some of the students spirits dampened.

While Bakugou Katsuki screamed, "Hell Yeah!".

Bakugou Katsuki due to being in house arrest did not have an idea about the Hero Work Studies.

Katsuki was secretly glad that he could quickly catch up with the nerd as the students chances of being able to participate in the hero work studies looked slim to him.

So he had no worries about falling behind.

Katsuki glances back at the nerd and snickers at his childhood friend who flinches upon seeing his Bakugou's sly fox laughing face.

After the homeroom period the normal classes  resumed.

Then lunch break came,

Denki was going to Recovery girl to discuss on the topic of Hero Work Studies while he on the way to the infirmary he hears an announcement  made on the speaker asking Midoriya Izuku to come to the break room as All Might is looking for him.

Denki smiles at the announcement and steps into the infirmary room and closes the door behind him softly

Izuku stood outside the break room with All Might and Togata senpai.

The conversation was a fruitful one.

Togata senpai had agreed to introduce Izuku to All Might's ex-former sidekick - Sir Nighteye.

Izuku was literally on cloud 9.

Izuku is brought out of his day dreaming when he hears recognises the voice of the person humming a lullaby walking past him.

Izuku on instinct let's the name slip past his tongue happily, "Kaminari-Kun".

Izuku knew from the morning classes Kaminari was avoiding him and keeping his distance away as possible from him. Izuku heart ached at the thought. He was in the state of confusion on what he did that made the boy take this type of measure.

The golden haired boy stops walking and turns around to look over his shoulder.

Even All Might and Togata too curiously look at the fragile boy with interest when their eyes fall on the Hero Work Studies form held in his hand. With sharp observant skills Izuku too had taken notice of the said form in the boy's pale hand.
