Ben couldn't help but steal glances at Maya, his heart clenching at the sight of her being loaded into the aid car. He knew her emotions were all over the place, and he was worried about how she was coping.

Theo, on the other hand, was more focused on the medical aspect of the job. He made sure Mason's body was secured on the gurney before turning to his teammates. "Okay, guys, let's get him to Grey Sloan."

Ben nodded, his expression somber. "Yeah, yeah, let's go. I'll drive."

With Mason's body safely in the back, and Maya ensconced in the passenger seat of the aid car, the team set off for the hospital, the weight of the day's events settling heavily on their shoulders.

The rest of the team climbed back into their respective vehicles, their faces reflecting the gravity of the situation. They cast one final glance at the scene, then turned their focus to the road ahead.

Travis looked over at Maya as they drove to the hospital, his expression filled with concern. She was staring out the window, her jaw clenched tight. He could tell she was struggling to process her emotions, and he desperately wanted to say something to comfort her, but he knew she probably wasn't ready to talk yet.

Travis settled for a gentle touch on her arm, hoping it would convey the reassurance he was struggling to put into words. "You know we're here for you, right? Always."

Travis's heart sank as Maya pulled away from his touch. He understood her need for space, but it still stung. He knew better than to push her, though, so he let her retreat into her thoughts as they continued on to Grey Sloan.

The drive to Grey Sloan was a silent one, each member of the team lost in their own thoughts. Travis couldn't help but glance over at Maya every few minutes, watching the tension in her shoulders and the way her jaw was clenching and unclenching.

As they pulled into the emergency bay at Grey Sloan, the team quickly got to work unloading Mason's body while the medical staff took care of Maya. They watched in silence as Maya was wheeled into the hospital, trying to ignore the pit of worry that gnawed at their stomachs.

As Amelia, a renowned neurosurgeon at Grey Sloan, entered the ER, she was met with the sight of Maya being wheeled in on a gurney. Her eyes widened in surprise, and she quickly made her way over to her.

Amelia placed a gentle hand on Maya's arm, her voice filled with concern. "Maya, what happened?"

Maya looked up at her, her expression a mix of exhaustion and frustration. "I had a seizure, that's all. But the team is all over me, making me go to the hospital even though I told them I'm fine."

Amelia raised an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced by Maya's downplaying of the situation. "A seizure is not 'just a seizure', especially given your history. You know that."

Maya sighed, knowing she wasn't going to win this argument. "I know, I know. But I'm fine, seriously. It's not a big deal."

Amelia crossed her arms over her chest, her tone firm but gentle. "It is a big deal, Maya. And the fact that you don't think it is concerns me. You need to take your health seriously."

Maya looked at Amelia and said "I want to see my fiancée she's in the recovery room because she has the flu."

Amelia softened at Maya's words, understanding her desire to see her fiancée. "Okay, okay, I'll take you to the recovery room. But we're going to discuss your health later."

Amelia wheeled Maya through the hospital hallways, her mind racing with concern for both Maya and her fiancée. As they approached the recovery room, Maya's eyes scanned the room until they landed on Carina.
