Maya managed a small smile, appreciative of her sister's support. "Just having you here, Meg, makes it a little easier. Knowing I'm not going through this alone helps."

As the conversation continued, Maya suddenly felt a wave of nausea wash over her. Her face paled even more, a look of discomfort crossing her features.

She winced, placing a hand on her stomach, and spoke weakly. "I... I don't feel so good..."

Carina immediately noticed the change in Maya's condition, her worry increasing. She quickly got up and went to the bedside, her hand rubbing soothing circles on her fiancée's back.

Carina's voice was gentle, filled with concern. "What do you need, Bambina? Is this the nausea again?"

Maya nodded weakly, her eyes closed as she fought against the waves of nausea. Her voice was strained as she replied. "Yeah... it's worse now. I feel like I might throw up again.."

Carina hurried to grab a basin from the bedside table, just in case Maya needed to throw up. She placed it gently within reach and returned to her fiancée's side.

Carina's hand continued to rub soothingly on Maya's back, her voice comforting. "I'm right here, Bambina. Just focus on your breathing. It'll pass soon."

Addison stepped into the room, her eyes immediately falling on Maya's pale and exhausted state. She approached the bedside, her voice filled with concern.

Addison spoke to Carina, her tone professional but caring. "How's she doing? Is she still nauseous?"

Carina sighed, her hand still gentle on Maya's back. "She's still nauseous. The waves of it seem to be coming more frequently now. And she looks so exhausted."

Addison nodded, her mind already running through a list of possible solutions. She turned her gaze to Maya, assessing her condition.

Addison spoke gently, her voice filled with a mix of professionalism and kindness. "Maya, I'm going to check your vitals again and assess your condition. I want to determine if you're ready to go home."

Maya lifted her head slightly, her eyes opening and focusing on Addison. She spoke weakly, her voice hoarse. "Yeah... I'm ready to go home. I just want to be in my own bed."

Carina looked between Maya and Addison, a mixture of hope and concern etched on her face. She wanted Maya to be comfortable at home, but not at the expense of her health.

Carina spoke up, her voice filled with a hint of hesitation. "Are you sure, Bambina? I don't want you to push yourself too much..."

Maya turned her gaze to Carina, her eyes meeting her fiancée's with a mix of tiredness and determination. Her voice was soft but resolute. "I'm sure, Carina. I want to be home. I can handle it, I promise."

Carina nodded reluctantly, trust in Maya's decision. She knew her fiancée could be stubborn when she set her mind on something, even when it came to her own health.

Addison spoke up, her voice professional and composed. "Alright, Maya. Let's run a few tests to ensure you're stable enough to go home. Then we can discuss how to manage your symptoms once you're there."
