Maya arrived at the new house first and carefully steered her car into the driveway. She parked near the front of the house, her heart racing as she looked out the window at the quaint two-story building. The two-car garage stood proudly on the side, a symbol of the space and comfort that she and Carina had wanted. She took a deep breath, anticipation and excitement coursing through her veins, and stepped out of the car.
As she stepped out of her car, the cool air of the Seattle morning greeted her, and she took a moment to take in the sight of the front of the house. The facade was simple yet charming, with colorful planters already resting next to the front door, hinting at the personal touches that Maya and Carina would surely add over time.
The rest of the 19 team arrived shortly after Maya, parking their vehicles in a neat line behind hers. They all got out of their cars, their eyes widening as they took in the new house for the first time.
Carina's car pulled up right after, and she quickly stepped out, her eyes immediately finding Maya. They exchanged a brief but loving look, both eager to start this new journey together.
Travis whistled and looked around. "Wow, this is a nice place you two found. I can't believe how fast everything's happened."
Andy, Megan, and the others nodded in agreement, their faces filled with excitement and curiosity. Everyone was excited to see the inside of the new house and to help Maya and Carina move in.
Maya yawned, feeling the weight of the day's events catching up to her. She glanced over at Carina who looked just as tired. "We should probably start unloading the cars so we can get some sleep," she said.
Carina nodded, her voice slightly weary. "Yeah, I'm exhausted. And we've got our first IVF meeting with Dr. Montgomery tomorrow at 10am at Grey Sloan."
The mention of the appointment stirred a mix of emotions. The excitement of finally taking steps towards starting their family was tempered by the exhaustion of the move and the anxiety of the unknown.
