As Maya slowly woke up, her eyes fluttering open, she took a moment to figure out her surroundings. The situation in the car quickly became clear to her, and she realized they had been pulled over.
Maya's voice was groggy and confused as she spoke up, "Carina, what's going on...?"

A/N: Still Day 4 of FSH and Day 2 of GnRHaCarina glanced back at Maya, her eyes filled with a mixture of worry and relief. She spoke quickly and quietly, not wanting the officer to overhear.
Carina replied, her voice lowered, "Bambina, it's okay. We've just been pulled over. But listen, everything's alright. Just stay quiet, please."
Maya nodded, her brain still foggy from the hormone injections and sleep. She could immediately sense Carina's anxiety and tried her best to remain calm and quiet, keeping her voice barely above a whisper.
Maya murmured softly, trying to keep a low tone, "Okay, Carina. I'll stay quiet."
Carina's heart ached as she saw Maya's groggy state, knowing how weary she was from her current condition. She reached over and gave her fiancée's hand a gentle, reassuring squeeze.
Carina mumbled softly, her voice filled with a mix of care and worry. "It's alright, Bambina. Just rest for a moment. I'll handle this."
Maya squeezed Carina's hand back, her touch returning the reassurance. She closed her eyes, trying to rest and regain some strength, while still keeping an ear open to what was happening.
Carina's words were a source of comfort, and she knew she could rely on her in this moment. She held onto Carina's hand even tighter, grateful for her unwavering presence.
The officer returned, holding Carina's documents and a notepad in his hand. He approached the window and spoke firmly, his voice still laced with suspicion.
The officer spoke, his tone holding a hint of interrogation. "Ma'am, I'll have to run your information through our system. May I have your date of birth, please?"
Carina's heart skipped a beat as the officer asked for her date of birth. She knew the information would inevitably reveal her nationality and possibly increase his suspicion.
Despite the anxiety, Carina replied calmly, her voice tinged with a hint of resignation. "My date of birth is July 17th, 1994."
The officer noted down the date on his notepad, nodding slightly as if confirming some inner suspicion. He continued his line of questioning, his voice still holding a note of authority.
The officer asked, his tone still laced with suspicion, "And where were you born, ma'am?"
Carina's heart pounded harder as the officer asked about her place of birth. She knew this was the moment when her Italian background would become evident.
Summoning every ounce of composure, Carinas replied, her voice slightly hesitant, "I was born in Catania, Sicily, Italy."
The officer's gaze hardened as Carina revealed her birthplace. His suspicion seemed to deepen, further fueling his questioning.
The officer's voice held a note of sternness as he continued, "Catania, Sicily, you say? And how long have you been in the U.S., ma'am?"
Carina's mind raced, trying to recall the exact dates and figures, knowing that her answer would likely be under intense scrutiny. She spoke carefully, her voice still tinged with nervousness but as composed as she could manage.
Carina replied, her words chosen with some hesitation, "I've been in the U.S. since 2015. I've been living in the States for about 8 years now."
The officer's expression remained stern as he digested the information provided by Carina. He wrote down the dates on his notepad, his pen scratching against the paper.
