Maya looked at them and said "Can we please stop talking about pizza and start packing please."
—————————————————————————The team chuckled, realizing that they had gotten slightly sidetracked by talk of pizza.
Travis, still grinning, nodded. "Sorry, Cap. You're right. No more pizza talk. Let's get down to business and get this packing show on the road."
Ben chuckled, amused by the group's pizza fixation. "Yeah, we'll keep pizza talk on the back burner until we've earned it. Let's focus on packing up and clearing this place out."
Dean, joining in on the banter, smirked. "But just for the record, pepperoni and extra cheese, with a side of garlic knots, please. For when we earn it, of course."
Everyone laughed, the conversation shifting back to packing, but with the tantalizing promise of pizza hanging in the air.
Emmett clapped his hands together, bringing the group back on track. "Okay, enough pizzeria talk. Let's get packing. We've got a timeline to meet and some pizza to earn."
Sullivan nodded, a determined expression on his face. "Right, let's divide and conquer. This place won't pack itself. We'll have pizza and bragging rights soon enough. Now, who wants to start in the living room?"
Maya, feeling grateful for the team's enthusiasm and commitment, stepped in. "The living room is a good start. That's where most of our furniture and decorative items are. Jack, Emmett, you guys can handle the larger pieces. Travis, why don't you start with the bookshelves and artwork on the walls."
Travis nodded, already making his way toward the bookshelf. "Consider it done, Cap."
Maya continued, assigning tasks to the rest of the group. "Ben and Dean, you can pack up the electronics and media equipment. Vic, please start packing the smaller decorative items and knick-knacks."
Vic nodded, already on task. "You got it, Cap."
Maya turned to the remaining team members. "Theo, Sullivan, I'd appreciate your help in the kitchen. We'll need to pack up all the appliances and kitchenware."
Theo and Sullivan nodded in agreement and headed into the kitchen.
Carina picked up her phone and dialed the number for the U-Haul company. After a few moments, she spoke with a representative on the other end, providing all the necessary details for their moving needs. Carina ensured the U-Haul truck would be arriving at their location within the next hour.
As she hung up the phone, Carina turned to the team. "Alright, I've booked a U-Haul truck. It should be here within the hour, so we better make the most of our time and pack up as much as we can before it arrives."
The team nodded, understanding the time constraint. They quickly resumed packing, each member focused on their assigned tasks. Travis diligently wrapped up the books and placed them in boxes, while Jack and Emmett maneuvered the larger pieces of furniture. Ben and Dean carefully packed the electronics, and Vic carefully wrapped the smaller decorative items.
Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Maya, Theo, and Sullivan were efficiently packing the kitchenware and appliances. They worked together seamlessly, making the most of their space and time.
Carina, hearing the knock on the door, looked up from her packing and exchanged a puzzled glance with Maya. "Expecting anyone else?"
Maya shook her head, genuinely surprised. "No, not that I know of."
Carina furrowed her brow and headed towards the front door, opening it to reveal her brother Andrew standing there with a warm smile.
Carina's expression softened, a mixture of surprise and happiness in her eyes. "Andrea, what are you doing here? I wasn't expecting you today."
