With Owen on his way to page Addison, the medical team quickly made arrangements to transfer Maya to a regular room. They carefully moved her gurney to the designated room, ensuring she was comfortable and connected to the necessary monitoring equipment.

A/N: Still day 3 of FSH and day 1 of GnRHaAs Carina walked into the waiting room of Grey Sloan Memorial, her eyes immediately darted around, searching for any sign of her fiancée. When she spotted 19, her heart sank, knowing Maya was still being treated.
Carina rushed over to them, her voice filled with concern. "Hey, how is she? What's going on? Has anyone updated you?"
Andy spoke up first, standing up to meet Carina's gaze. "She's still unconscious. The scan showed no further brain injury, but they're doing an ultrasound to check her ovaries and reproductive system because of the abdominal pain she was experiencing."
Carina's grip tightened on her purse, anxiety and worry etched on her face. "Abdominal pain? What does that mean? Is there something wrong?"
Ben tried to reassure her, his voice calm and soothing. "They're just being thorough. The hormones she's been taking could potentially complicate things, so they want to make sure everything is alright. Addison has been paged to assess the situation further."
Carina nodded, trying to process the information. "The hormones... I didn't even consider that. I just need to see her. Is it alright if I go to her room?"
Ben placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Of course, go to her room. We'll be out here if you need us."
Carina gave him a grateful nod and hurried towards Maya's room, her heart pounding in her chest. As she reached the room, she gently pushed open the door and stepped inside, her eyes falling on Maya's unconscious figure lying in the hospital bed.
Carina's eyes welled up with tears as she approached Maya's bed. She reached out and gently took Maya's hand in hers, feeling the warmth and the steady beat of her pulse. Carina took a deep breath, trying to compose herself, and whispered softly, "Hey Bambina, I'm here. I'm here with you."
Just as Carina was holding Maya's hand, Dr. Addison Montgomery entered the room. Her eyes softened upon seeing Carina, her voice gentle but professional, "Carina, I'm sorry for the situation. How are you holding up?"
Carina looked up at Addison, a mix of worry and relief in her expression. "I'm... I'm hanging in there. I just need to know what's going on with Maya. The scan showed no brain injury, but what about her ovaries? Is she going to be okay?"
Addison nodded, a hint of reassurance in her voice. "I understand your concerns. We're going to perform an ultrasound to assess her ovaries and reproductive system. Given the hormones she's been taking, it's important to rule out any potential complications."
Carina's grip on Maya's hand tightened, her anxiety escalating even more. "Potential complications? What kind of complications? Could it affect... our future plans?"
Addison's expression remained empathetic, yet professional. "It's difficult to say at the moment. We need to analyze the ultrasound results first. Right now, let's focus on getting the necessary information and taking things one step at a time, okay?"
Carina glanced at her watch, checking the time. "It's almost 6 pm. Maya's due for the injections. The FSH injections she's been taking and also the GnRHa that needs to start."
She looked up at Addison, her eyes pleading for guidance. "Is it still okay for her to take them? Or should we wait until we get the ultrasound results first? I don't want to do anything that could potentially harm her condition further."
