Chapter 52 - Honeymoon

A/N - How about we enjoy some cuteness of their honeymoon in Mallorca, Spain. And the funny post cards that Mia keeps sending Marj to wind her up about being stuck in an office. There will also be mentions of smoking etc.

Recap:
Continuing their drive home Mia has a stable chat with Charlotte, "I love you so much Charlotte Montgomery Roberts...." She smiles and reaches to hold Charlotte's hand as she stops at a red light. "I love you too Mia Montgomery Roberts".

The drive continues to be stable as they drove home, tomorrow they would be flying out in the late evening to their honeymoon destination.

Mallorca, Spain.

Whilst they still drive surprisingly Maeve doesn't wake up at all whilst they drive, "Amelia... I've never been this loved by anyone before.." Charlotte whispers and keeps her hand on Maeve's thigh. Mia smiles glancing lovingly towards Charlotte as she drives, "well I can't wait for our honeymoon." She smiles.

The slow hums of the radio heighten their drive as they make their way home, "Fuck sake... all this traffic.." Mia honks her horn and grumbles grabbing a sip of her drink, "Do you want me to swap places with you Amelia.. you are exhausted and the venue is a long way from our house.." Charlotte pleads and Mia yawns, "but I'm a good driver.." "you may be a good driver.. but that doesn't mean that you aren't tired.." Charlotte explains and as the light is still on red, so she switches with Mia and now Charlotte is driving.

"Okay... let's just get going" she mumbles and turns the radio up slightly as she hums along to the music. Mia sits with a hand on Maeve's thigh as she one handed scrolls on TikTok .

"Hehe..." she laughs to herself which catches Charlottes attention, "what are you finding so funny huh?" She playfully rolls her eyes and Mia pouts slapping her arm, "I'm laughing because Marjorie just sent me a text being annoyed that she has to find cover for us" Mia snickers. Charlotte looks at her and grumbles slightly, "She should have had our cover sorted for ages now... did she not at all?" Charlotte asks and Mia sighs looks at Maeve who was cuddled in against her, "no I don't think that it is actually to do with cover..., I think Marjorie is slightly annoyed that Maeve is having a good time. Reece hasn't even taken her on an out out Holiday" Mia grumbles and Mia brushes the stray hairs away from Maeve's face as they sit together in the car.

They continue to drive and Charlotte smiles fondly at Mia and she looks at her piercingly. "What's got you so happy again Amelia?" Charlotte asks and Mia smiles cheekily.

"Well sweetheart... even though I managed to get is a private jet for holiday.. but you know they've added more things" she smiles and Charlotte gasps at her, "wait really!" She giggles and Mia smiles, "absolutely but what's more exciting is that we can have breakfast in bed and cuddle together~" Mia re emphasises, Charlotte shakes her head.

After a few minutes of driving later, the sky was black and deep blue as they pull into their car drive. Both Charlotte and Mia look at each other as they look towards Maeve who was dead asleep.

"Baby...love wake up.." Mia gently pokes her thigh and looks at her gently, Mia looks towards Charlotte and She sighs, "Amelia how about you take in the gifts and bags.. whilst I try to wake her up" she softly asks and she nods whilst grabbing the bags. Charlotte gets out the car and makes her way over to the passenger seats and opens the door, "Maeve sweetheart... wake up.." Charlotte gently lifts her up and she picks her out of the car whilst she locks it. Maeve squirms in char's arms and she looks up to her, "Lottie.." she yawns and cuddles closer to her as they walk into the home.
