Ambush? Are they after me or the prince? Or is it us? Either of those, one thing is for sure— blood will scatter tonight. They're not just three, four, but a bunch of them.

I can feel their killing intent passing through the carriage. Base on their presence I could tell they're not humans. I could clearly hear the sound of their growling and hissing outside.

"Are you comfortable to fight with that dress butterfly?" The first thing Osiris asked to me. Eyeing my body. The side of my lips lifted. He knows I am not a damsel in distress. I can fight my own battles. And he's giving me that moment.

"Yes of course," I replied after cutting off the dress starting from my chest until the bottom— leaving me with an inner cloth, and safety shorts.

Napatingin ako kay Osiris nang maramdaman ang mainit na tingin nito sa katawan ko. Salubong ang mga kilay niya at nakatiim bagang.

"Are you planning on going to fight while dressed like that? You can't!" Mariin tutol niya. Nairolyo ko ang mga mata ko.

"Ilugar mo nga ang pagiging possessive mo Osiris. Inaambush na nga tayo eh!" Suway ko sakanya.

"What?" He looks dumbfounded. Awang ang mga labi niya at tila natalo ang platsada ng mukha.

Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay.

"Goddamnit!" He cursed and went straight to jump out of the carriage.

Slashing, growling, and cries of the monsters were heard after Osiris stepped out of the carriage.

I'm curious how can he slay all those monsters when he didn't have a sword with him. With that thought I immediately went to follow him.

I was quick to turn around and found a man. He looks like a spirit. Within the darkness of the place, only the lights coming from him illuminated the place.

Tumalikod ako at nagbakasakaling makita si Osiris sa pagtanaw ko sa malayo ngunit walang ni kahit anino niya o ng mga halimaw ang nakita ko.

"You're not from here! You should go back to your world. This world will be in ruin if you stay here." Galit ang tono niyang panambitan.

Marahas ko siyang hinarap muli. Kumunot ang nuo ko pero unti-unting naging blanko ang paningin ko.

"Who are you?" I questioned. He's not a spirit, and I just realized it now. He somewhat looks like a godly being.

He did not answer me. But he stare at me and then something happened when he snap his fingers.
