Father left for overseas. He'll be gone for 2 months.
Now the house won't have any adult male to rely on for emergencies. Although he's unreliable, you can't deny the affects of having one and not having one while a stranger is in the house doing work.
Even if my father wasn't even here while the stranger is here. He was at work.
But because of people babbling, my sister's husband, who introduced the stranger to install the generator.
Or maybe someone close because Asians like to gossip.
This stranger probably and most likely knows my father left early this morning for the airport.
Now one layer of unreliable security is gone.
Anyways the man came at around 10am.
At around 11am, it sounded too quiet so I took a peep from my bedroom door.
The hallway lights were on but there was no ladder to the attic rooftop.
I stood for while and only heard a very faint click from the dining room.
So I thought he was still here.
Minutes later. It was still quiet.
But now I hear movement but it was very brief.
And now it's quiet again.
Also there was no flicker of power outage today.
A good thing for me but suspicious about his work!
3 out of 3 days he worked before the was a moment of the power going out at the very least.
Today, he's been here for an hour already with not much noise and no power outs.
I swear if this is not finish by today...
I'll call for another professional.
Not one introduced by anyone I don't even trust.
Not to mention how absurd it was to hear this stranger ask for the keys to my house.
