guys it's valentines day for me right now i'm in australia so....

Taylor's POV

Travis: Meet me here at 7. Wear something pretty for me, angel. ❤️

I smile down at my phone, rereading the message for the tenth time. My stomach flutters as I glance at the time, only a couple of hours to get ready. Whatever Travis has planned, I already know it's going to be perfect.

After a long shower, I slip into a delicate white mini dress, soft, flowy, with just the right amount of romance. The sweetheart neckline accentuates my collarbones, and the hem flutters around my thighs when I move. I curl my hair into soft waves, pinning back a few strands with a pearl clip, and swipe on my favorite red lipstick, Travis's weakness.

By the time I step out of the car at the location he sent, the sun is dipping below the horizon, casting the sky in shades of blush and gold. My heels click softly against the cobblestone path as I approach the entrance of a secluded rooftop, candles flickering along the railing.

Then, I see him.

Travis stands near a small, elegantly set table for two, dressed in a fitted white button up with the sleeves rolled up just enough to show off his forearms. His face breaks into the softest, most adoring smile when he sees me.

"Damn," he murmurs, raking his eyes over me slowly. "You look unreal, angel."

I blush, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear as I step closer. "You're not so bad yourself, Kelce."

He chuckles, reaching out to pull me into him, his hands settling on my waist. "Happy Valentine's Day, baby."

I glance around, finally taking in the full scene. Fairy lights twinkle above us, a path of scattered rose petals leads to a plush loveseat, and there's a soft melody playing in the background. A bottle of wine sits on the table, next to a plate of chocolate-covered strawberries and a little gift bag with my name on it.

"You did all this... for me?" I whisper, heart swelling.

He leans down, pressing a kiss to my temple. "Who else would I do it for?"

I laugh, wrapping my arms around his neck. "It's perfect, Trav."

"Not as perfect as you," he murmurs against my lips before pulling me in for a kiss, slow, deep, and filled with nothing but love.

As soon as our food arrives, Travis claps his hands together like an excited little kid. "Oh, this looks so good," he says, grabbing his fork.

I laugh, twirling some pasta onto mine. "You sound like you haven't eaten all day."

He pauses mid-bite, looking guilty. "I might've skipped lunch."

I roll my eyes, but my heart melts a little. "Travis."

"I was busy!" he defends, mouth still half full. "Had to make sure tonight was perfect for you."

I reach across the table, lacing my fingers through his. His hand is warm and big in mine, the calluses rough against my skin. "It is," I say softly. "I love it."

His grin stretches wide, dimples and all. "Yeah?"

I nod. "Yeah."

For a few minutes, we just eat, stealing little glances at each other between bites. Every now and then, Travis sneaks a piece of food from my plate, acting like I won't notice.
