Travis's POV
"Truth or dare, Kelce?" Taylor's voice was teasing, her eyes sparkling as she leaned back against the couch. She had that look, playful, daring, and absolutely irresistible. We'd been at it for an hour, and the stakes were getting higher with every round.
But I knew this game wasn't just about fun. Taylor loved the challenge, loved seeing how far someone would go before they folded. And tonight, she was in her element.
"Truth," I said, crossing my arms. I wasn't about to make it easy for her.
Taylor's lips curled into a mischievous smile. She tapped her chin, pretending to think, but I knew she already had a question lined up. "Alright, big guy. What's the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to you on the field?"
I hesitated, and she caught it immediately.
"Oh, come on, Travis. You've got nothing to hide?" she teased, her voice laced with challenge.
I sighed. The memory of a certain locker room mix-up during my rookie year popped into my head, and I couldn't stop the heat from creeping up my neck. "Not sharing that one," I said firmly.
Taylor raised an eyebrow. "Rules are rules, babe. Lose the shirt."
I rolled my eyes but obliged, pulling my hoodie over my head and tossing it aside. "Happy now?"
She shrugged, trying to play it cool, but I caught the way her eyes lingered.
"My turn," I said, sitting forward. "Truth or dare, Swift?"
"Truth," she said, crossing her legs and leaning in. She looked so confident, but I knew better. Taylor was like a vault—hard to crack, but when you did, you got everything.
I grinned. "Who was your first celebrity crush?"
She flushed, just the tiniest bit, and I knew I had her. "Ugh," she groaned, burying her face in her hands. "Why do you have to ask stuff like this?"
"Because it's the game," I said smugly. "Come on, who was it?"
She hesitated, then shook her head. "Nope. Not happening."
"Shirt or socks?" I teased.
Taylor groaned again but reached down to slip off her socks, tossing them at me. "There. Satisfied?"
"Not even a little," I shot back, and she rolled her eyes.
The game continued, each question pushing the limits a little further. We were both down to just jeans and T-shirts when Taylor upped the ante.
"Truth or dare?" she asked, her voice dripping with mock innocence.
"Truth," I said again.
Her smile widened. "Alright. What's one thing you've never told anyone?"
I froze. Her eyes locked onto mine, challenging me, but there was something else there too—curiosity, maybe even vulnerability.
I leaned back, running a hand through my hair. "Not answering that," I muttered.
"Thought so," she said triumphantly. "Shirt. Now."
I grumbled but pulled it off, leaving me bare-chested. Taylor's eyes flickered over me, and she bit her lip, but quickly masked it with a smug grin.
"Your turn," she said breezily.
"Truth or dare?" I asked, my voice dropping a little.
"Truth," she replied, but there was a flicker of hesitation.
