this one-shot is the most random unhinged thing ever and i'm sorry but i'm tired

Travis's POV

I glance up from my phone just in time to see her, my girl, completely lost in her own world. Taylor's curled up on the couch, one leg tucked under her, the other dangling off the edge like she forgot how to sit like a normal person.

My hoodie swallows her up, the sleeves covering half her hands, and her blonde hair is a messy pile on top of her head, loose strands falling around her face. She's got a spoon hanging from her hand, midway to a bowl of ice cream, completely unaware of how effortlessly cute she looks.

I swear, she could be doing the most random shit and still somehow be the most beautiful person I've ever seen.

She's scrolling through her phone, eyebrows furrowed in that intense way that usually means she's deep in some conspiracy theory rabbit hole, or reading one of those books she's always begging me to get into. Her eyes dart across the screen, so focused she doesn't even notice when I reach for my phone.

I angle it just right, making sure to capture every detail, the way my hoodie swallows her up, her pink fuzzy socks peeking out from under her legs, the spoon still midair in her hand.

Click.

I check the picture, grinning. Perfect.

Without thinking twice, I open Instagram, upload it to my story, and type out a caption.

"Look at my queen. Absolute icon."

Satisfied, I toss my phone onto the table and lean back, waiting.

It doesn't take long.

A few minutes later, her phone buzzes once. Then again. Then again.

She shifts a little, adjusting her position. "Why is my phone blowing up?"

I bite the inside of my cheek, keeping my expression neutral. "No idea, angel."

Her eyes narrow suspiciously as she clicks on the notifications. There's a pause. Then-

"Oh my god."

I can't help it, I chuckle under my breath.

She sits up so fast the spoon falls to the floor with a soft clatter. "TRAVIS."

"What?" I grin. "You look cute."

"I LOOK LIKE A GREMLIN." She holds up her phone like it's evidence of my crimes. "TRAVIS, DELETE IT."

I stretch my arms behind my head, totally unfazed. "Nope."

Her phone keeps buzzing, and she groans before checking the comments, bracing for the worst. But then-

"This is peak girlfriend behavior."
"How does she STILL look this good??"
"Travis Kelce is the most whipped man alive and I love that for him."
"Me eating at 3 AM but make it aesthetic."

She blinks, rereading them. "Wait... people actually like it?"

I smirk. "Told ya. You're adorable."

She exhales sharply, like she wants to be mad, but I see the tiny smile she's trying to fight. She glares at me anyway, crossing her arms. "This isn't over, Kelce."

I lean forward, resting my elbows on my knees, grinning. "I'd be disappointed if it was."

My phone buzzes in my pocket, and I frown, pulling it out.
