...Huh?!
I turned to face El as she did to me too with a similar baffled expression as mine.
"That's my uncle!?" El whispered to me.
I frantically looked back and forth towards the two adult Arachnids and El.
"Wh- I get- No, that's not... AH!!!" I started scratching my head. "TIME OUT!"
I grabbed El and John and dragged them a bit back.
Poking my sword into the dirt, I started tracing out a diagram.
"Wait... So, we have this new face who is an Arachnid..." I recalled.
"Who's my uncle." El added.
"Who is your uncle, yes." I noted. "He is also... English?"
Turning towards John, he has disappeared and has just finished fabricating a hammock and is about to go take a nap.
"Are you serious!?" El and I yelled as we both grabbed him and threw him back into the conversation.
"Huh? What's up?" John bluntly asked.
"This has completely broken the entire mood of the situation, John." I remarked.
"You started it." John retorted. "You dragged me into this 'Time out' while a whole other thing was happening. As far as I know, YOU ruined the mood."
I was about to raise my voice, but he's... right.
"Questions can come later." I sighed defeatedly as I turned towards the rest of the students.
Before I could even take my first step, something whizzed past me. Rather, someone.
...Are you kidding me?
"That hurt, innit? Don't worry, sis. I'm not done."
The one who was sent flying was Madam Cloud!? No way!
"I'm heading in-" I couldn't even finish my sentence.
Suddenly, a shockwave of pressure flew past from behind me and a figure formed before me with a boom.
I could have blinked, and I would've missed it. Madam Cloud swung her fist and, in that split second, the Arachnid man managed to block it with his bat.
"Damn! They're fast!" Some of the students exclaimed.
...What they said.
It's incredible! I have never seen anyone fight like this before. Each impact is sending shockwaves that pass through my body as if I was in a Miku concert. (Concert speakers are so loud...)
Author's Note: First concert I went really sent me ragdolling from the sheer power from the speakers the moment the first song started. Luckily, I did my research and got ear protection!
And I could feel that I would easily die from the weakest strike they're throwing.
"Each hit is like the least damaging Slayer combo in Strive." I thought aloud.
For my comment, El slapped me in the back of my head.
"Now is not the time..." She sternly said, clutching her fist tightly. "Don't you think, darling?"
Yikes! She's pulling out the "Darling" card now? I really must've messed up with what I let slip out, huh?
Back to the fight...
Both of them are at the same pace — No, they're ramping up more strength as time went on.
The shockwaves from their fight were powerful like a hurricane. I, as well as all the other students present here, knew offering support of any kind would be like putting your hand into a blender. Even if we were a fair distance away, it was like the wind could slice us up.
