Be Mine, Fred Weasley

Friends Again... Again.

"Lucy! Have you seen my hoodie? I can't find it!" I yell to her. We are packing for break and getting ready to head to the train.
"Oh yeah! I took it last night. Sorry Lee and I went out and.."
"OKAY! I don't need the details." I say smiling. She hands me the hoodie and I stuff it into my trunk. Finally everything is packed and I close my trunk and start galling it down the stairs. "Come on Lucy! We are going to be late!"
"Will you be quiet." She says hauling her trunk down the stairs. "Hey since we have some time to ourselves for the first time in forever, how are you and the twins?"
"Uh. Well I have been avoiding them. Hey! Don't give me that look! If someone wanted to lock you in a closet with a first year how would you feel?!" I say seeing she looks annoyed.
"I mean yeah I get why you are angry, but cut the guys some slack. They didn't do it to intentionally anger you. Plus they are really sorry. Lee has to hear about it all the time. You should go tell them goodbye before we leave."
I look at he. She's giving me a pleading look and I finally give in. "Fine! They are in the Great Hall.Let's go."
We make our way through the crowds of people making their way to the train. I look at my watch and realize we only have 20 min to get down there and it is about a 15 minute walk.
"Lucy maybe we should just go. We are going to be late!"
"We will not! Aye! Fred! George! Come here!" She looks at me and I give her a glare.
"Hey Lucy. What's up?" Says Fred. "Hey Beth." He adds looking at me.
"Sorry. Beth just wanted to talk to you! Excuse me I'm going to go find Lee! See you on the train Beth!" She winks at me and runs to go find Lee.
"So. What do you want to talk to us about?" Asks Fred. His hands are in his pockets and he's swaying back and forth. He's nervous. I look at George and see that he is looking at me, waiting.
"I-uh. Um..." I manage to stamper out.
"Lucy wanted you to talk to us. You don't want to though. That's alright. Have a Happy Christmas." Says George starting to walk away.
"Wait! George... And Fred." I say looking at one to the other. "Okay. So. I think we need to call a truce. I'll start talking to you two dummies IF you promise to never try to lock me in a closet with your brother or anyone else, without my knowing. Deal?"
"DEAL!" They say in unison both coming to grab me in a huge hug.
"And Beth we really are... What I'm trying to say is... We are" says George.
"SORRY! Gosh Georgie you need to talk to people more." Fred finishes for him laughing.
"Well I'm going to miss the train unless I leave now. I'll write!" I say grabbing my things and begin walking away. The twins nod and wave me goodbye.

After a long journey on the train we arrive at Kings Cross. I say my goodbyes to Lee and Lucy and look for grandma.
"Oh Beth!" I hear a voice from behind me. I turn around and my heart stops.
"Mum?"
