Hi lovelies, this chapter has 5000+ words, not counting my message and ends with a question so make sure you read till the end ❤️
Firstly to all of those who commented and checked on my well being, thank you so much, it really means a lot. I really love you all ❤️❤️❤️ and I am sorry I didn't reply yet and that is because I am mentally disturbed too...I mean the chapter has triggered so many emotions in all of you and given that I've had the same journey as you all, writing the book, that particular chapter was extremely painful to write too and has disturbed my mental peace...I mean...I had to experince every single emotion in order to write them in a way that is impactful and had to do so repeatedly to come with the plot, imagine, write and edit....and that messes with my mind...it took me three days to even bring myself to write that chapter and the same goes to this chapter to an extend....partially the reason as to why that chapter was so delayed and why I wasn't resposive to the messages but I will get back to your messages soon.
Unfortunately, and this is important, due to my delays in reading the messages, I missed a couple of messages. One message, which was extremly disturbing is from a 12 year old whose father has abused her and her mother. My heart pains for you dear, I read your message only in the morning and wanted to take my time to understand before replying but you seem to have deleted it or it got lost...idk...and I don't know your ID....so can't respond that way either....but I hope you are doing alright and if you are okay and if you wish to share...feel free to write on my message board again....I can't solve the problems, but I can certainly offer emotional support and if you wish can share it with the rest of the readers to see if they experienced something similar and could offer a way to put your mind at peace....you can also comment in here if you are okay with it.
And finally, I could see how much frustrated a lot of you are with Deva in the last chapter....I mean...that chapter has more comments than votes and when I say comments....they are like huge paragraphs on how disappointed they are with Deva....and to be honest...I anticipated this and your anger is completely justified. In a twisted way, I am actually a little proud that my character and story could trigger such deep emotions. It shows how much my lovely readers are involved in the story....but please...while I understand your emotions...hate the character not the author...although I would consider myself lucky in this aspect as the majority of readers have taken the time to clearly state that their anger is on the character and not the author but again just to clarify, I do not condone cheating in any form.
I love you all and hope this chapter, atleast towards the end brings a bit of peace to you all ❤️
But if you are busy, in the middle of tests or something I suggest, postone your reading to a later time. The emotions might get a little too intense
Love you all!!!
Target for next chapter: 1200 votes and 750 comments
*** Randheera ***
"Pritham, go search the city center and then meet me near the forest gates. Kishore, surround the borders of the capital. Vinod, look near the temple. I'll search the path to the forest," I instructed my officers, assigning where they should lead their teams as we began the search for the King.
The two officers nodded and immediately left with their teams, but Vinod remained behind.
"Sir..." he began hesitantly.
"Yes?" I asked.
"I'm so sorry, sir," he apologized. "I didn't know Paradise had a secret passage. If I had..."
"Not your fault, Vinod," I interrupted. "I didn't know either."
"But still..." he tried to explain, still weighed down by guilt.
