(This chapter is an adaptation of Soman Chainani's Graphic Novel from 2025, that I bet most of you haven't read. But considering it's called "Coven", I think some of you can entail what it's about. But I promise you Y/n is in a majority of it! Cuz you know, otherwise I wouldn't be writing the chapter, lol. I hope you all will enjoy reading this chapter.)

Out in the Endless Woods, a few years after the end to The tale of Sophie & Y/n & Agatha, and The Lion and the Snake, things had changed. One such thing was an occurrence between Gillikin and Blackbriar, two opposing kingdoms, one Ever, the other Never. Because usually, fairies from Gillikin and trolls from Blackbriar were sword enemies, warring with each other since times begging. But today, there were no fights, no decorations of war, or territorial disputes. No, instead, the trolls and fairies pranced on the same fields, even talking to each other, feasting together. And even the Fairy Queen of Gillikin and the Troll King of Blackbriar could sit on the same throne.

"On behalf of the Fairy Queen of Gillikin and the Troll King of Blackbriar, we call a truce between fairies and trolls," said the diplomat, a green fairy with round glasses and white hair, his light pink wings fluttering in a calm motion. In his hand were three medals. "Thousands of innocent lives have been saved on both sides, Good and Evil no longer at war. But credit must be given when it's due. Three brave souls stopped this war. Three souls who risked their lives for peace. They have become heroes in these Woods. Answering the call of justice when all else fails. Today, we award the Medals of Courage to... the Witch Coven!"
The crowd abrupt into applause, looking back at their saviors—
Only, the witches were nowhere to be seen.
Where could they have gone?
Well, to answer that question, we need a change of scenery.

Out at the Savage Sea, terrible cries could be heard from a sea dragon mother, her blood mixing with the saltwater as she tried to protect her children. The best the creature could do to defend itself was shoot fire at the boat hunting them, which proved ineffective.
"Blast these beats!" a one eyed pirate said, on the same boat the dragons tried to burn up. He threw his spear down at the creatures, hitting the mother below the gills, gracing its scales.
"Eye, but every army wants dragon lungs," said the captain, holding up a fresh pair of smoldering lungs. "Just a few more for a full chest."
More spears were thrown at the mother, three coming right for her head—

POP!

The pirates looked down into the water, awaiting a dragon corpse to surface. Instead, the only thing which came out of the water was... Vegetables? A pair of pirates glanced at each other, the one eyed pirate and another clad in purple, trying to understand what just happened. But before they could look back at the water, a red beat crashed into them, throwing the one clad in purple into the ocean. The one-eyed pirate reeled in shock, but before he could run, a black rat had tied up his foot, two other rats pulling him up, making the man hang from the mast upside down.
The captain fell to the floor in shock, seeing the silhouettes of his hunters against the sun. He crawled his way to the chest, trying to get the lungs and flee.
"Thinks he'll get away..." a woman said. She held out her finger, pointing at the floor before the captain. "Smooth as butter..."
The captain started sliding uncontrollably towards the dragon lungs, colliding with the chest in a force that the lungs started to detonate. Before any of his crew could help him, the captain was already burning to a good crisp.

The attackers flew closer to the ship, showing their faces clearly, clad in clothes their friend had made them so long ago now. It wasn't rival pirates or any noble knights attacking the ship, it was three witches, all riding stymphs. A coven known throughout the Endless Woods, vigilantes solving disputes and crime that kings and knights would take weeks or months to solve. Anadil, Hester, and Dot.
"Little girls playing grown-up, eh?" said a pirate, wearing a bandanna around his head.
"Not just disrespectful to animals, but to women too," said Anadil.
Dot put her hand to the pirates flag, turning it to cheese. "Don't think anyone will miss them."
"Take it up with the law," the bandanna pirate said. "Dirty, stinking witches!"
"In this world..." Hester said, caressing her demon which was back on her shoulder. "Witches are the law."
The pirates came running at them, holding up their spears, screaming.
But the witches were faster, sending the pirates flying back in an explosion of blue, red, and green.
The pirates all flew into the water, screaming obscenities at the women as they started swimming back to their boat. But the girls just looked in glee, standing on the boat's fence.
That's when the low grumble from the sea came, louder and louder. The pirates realized too late what was happening. For as they looked down into the ocean, all they could see was the mouth of a dragon.
