(Agatha's new fit)

The path through webbed trees was so narrow and dark the four Evers had to travel one behind the other, like ducks out of a pond. While Tedros fixed his gold fingerglow on Princess Uma ahead, he kept peeking back at Y/n, who walked between him and Agatha, and had her f/c glow pinned on him.

"I'm still here," Y/n said, giving him a lopsided smile.
"Oh, no it's just... didn't remember how pretty your fingerglow was," Tedros fumbled and quickly turned around.
Y/n didn't answer and rolled her eyes with a chuckle. He had kept looking back at her every now and then, like she would disappear any moment and be gone from him. Y/n hadn't checked on Agatha however, after all, she could hear the girl walking behind her, and she knew Agatha wasn't in the mood for it.

But when Tedros wasn't checking in on her, Y/n had her mind occupied on what she would say to Sophie when she met her, when she would rescue her from the School Master.
Tell her how much you miss her... or should I apologize first?... How do you apologize for trying to banish someone away after they say they love you? "Sorry I tried to banish you forever"... "Sorry I thought you were a witch"... "Sorry that I didn't believe you, said you could never be Good and I'm a crap friend..."

Y/n gulped. Maybe just not go into the past too much. Just give a genuine apology from the heart and then make her destroy our rings. Then we can focus on the future, the four of us at Camelot– a clean slate–
Y/n smiled, trying to be confident... and slowly deflated, tensing again. But suppose she won't want to destroy her ring? she thought, remembering how the ring gave them immortality. They could clearly be wounded, she had after all. But she couldn't die, and neither could Sophie. She also knew how Sophie could be, and she wasn't one to give up easily once she had her mind set. So maybe Sophie would still want to kill Tedros and Agatha?

"I'll rescue Sophie when we find her," Tedros broke in as he decoded her silence.
Y/n looked at him, aghast.
"For one thing, you've been through enough already, my love, and so has Agatha," her prince added, hopping over a log. "Second, you tend to faint at crucial moments, I'm sure Agatha does too sense she's also a princess. And third, me and Sophie don't really have that much of a friendship, so she has less to be mad about after what happened that night."

Y/n followed him, jumping over the log after him. "First of all, I'm fine. Second, I fainted once–"
"Twice: the gargoyle and by the lake–"
"And third, she's my best friend– I'll rescue her–"
"Look, it's best if I do it," Tedros said, walking faster. "You and her seem to have quite the... odd relationship."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Y/n asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I mean, you seem all lovey dovey sometimes, and sometimes you always fight–"
"Yeah, about you," Y/n said, crossing her arms. "And friends are supposed to love each other."
"Not in the way you and Sophie do," Tedros puffed. "It seems more like a dysfunctional, weird relationship to me. I mean, you keep kissing."

"Are... are you salty that I have kissed Sophie more than I have kissed you?" Y/n asked, leaning forward, closer to him.
"No..." Tedros said, looking away.

"Uhu..." Y/n said. "Well, I don't like Sophie that way. Not anymore at least... I think..."
"You think?" Tedros asked.
"Well, I'll be honest and say that I have a tendency to excuse Sophie off Sophie's lesser qualities, and I do have to admit I find her very pretty," Y/n said, her cheeks warming a little, "But I don't love her."
"Okay that sounds like you have a crush on her too me," Tedros said. "So like I said, your relationship is dysfunctional and weird and I don't trust you two alone–"
"I liked you two better when you're quiet," Princess Uma hissed, glaring from the path.
Tedros mumbled something about "females" and "delusional" and stamped ahead, still he sometimes checked on his princess.
