You, your father (Bobby), Cas, and the Winchester brothers were tracking down Eve. The search lead you to a small town in Oregon where you stopped at Ervin's Diner to help your father research.
"Alright," he started, "I just got to the police database, no thanks to this." He held up the iPad he was using. "I asked for a computer." You choked on the cup of tea you were drinking.
"It is a computer," you remarked.
"A computer has buttons." You just rolled your eyes and made eye contact with Sam sitting across the table. Your boyfriend Cas just looked as blank as usual.
"Can I get you anything else?" A waiter walked up to your table.
"No, we're good, thanks," Dean replied.
"Anything?" Sam asked, munching thoughtfully on his food.
"Just Nicolas Dodge stuff, nothing weird," Bobby replied. You met eye contact with Cas as if asking if he could sense anything, but he just turned around and scanned the diner. "Basically a dead end. Do you think Vampira was lying?"
Cas turned back and gave a sincere look to your father. "I'll search the town. Give me a moment." He sat back, but didn't leave. Bobby just continued looking on the iPad so you nudged Dean, both of your eyes flickering back to Cas.
"Cas, we can still see you," you teased.
"Yah, I'm still here."
"You don't have to wait on us," Dean encouraged. You watched as Cas put on a concentrated look, now Sam was even watching. "Now it just looks like you're pooping."
"Dean!" You kicked him from underneath the table.
"Something's wrong," Cas lowered his voice.
"You stuck?" you asked.
"I'm blocked." Came the reply. He gave you a deer in the headlights look that filled your heart with worry. "I'm powerless."
"You're joking!"
"Something in this town is, affecting me. So it's Eve." Castiel met Dean's eye, waiting for a response.
"So, Mom's making you limp?"
"Figuratively, yes."
"How?" you spoke up.
"I don't know, but she is."
"Oh well, that's great. Because without your power you're just a baby in a trench coat."
You watched as Cas' face changed, looking so offended. Then it dropped and he stared out the window, clenching his jaw. Once again, you kicked Dean hard enough to make him wince. You could have sworn to see a smile forming on Bobby's lips.
Sam looked from Cas to Dean, then held up a forkful of salad.
"I think you hurt his feelings," he whispered.
Afterwards you left to search around the town. Cas still looked a little upset from being called a 'baby in a trench coat.'
"Hey, Cas?" You tapped his shoulder and he spun around to meet you.
"Yes, Y/n?"
"What Dean said, he missed out on one thing. You're a very cute baby in a trench coat." You gave him a nice smile and watched as the corners of his mouth turned up.
"Thank you, Y/n." He grabbed your hand and you two walked up to meet the Winchesters and your father.
Short one. Yes, Yes. But I saw this prompt and I wanted to do it. So I did, obviously.
