Castiel was frozen outside the bunker, every memory of you flooding into his mind at once. The past few years with you had been the best he had ever had. He lived for seeing your smile each day he came down, he took every chance to care for you while you were sad or ill.

He never knew one person could change his world.

Heaven hated his relationship with you, he was breaking the rules once again, for a Winchester. (You being Dean's twin.) But, you were the one who introduced the emotion of love to him, ever since he first saw you.

He raised a fist and knocked cautiously on the door, unsure why he was so scared. Unsure why he was actually knocking when he could appear anytime he wanted...

You opened the door and he watched your face brighten upon seeing him. You subconsciously tucked a strand of hair behind your ear.

"Hey, Cas," you smiled. "What are you doing out here, you know you can come in any time you want."

"Y/n, come with me. I have something to show you." Castiel extended a hand. Your eyebrows furrowed for a quick second but you turned and shouted a quick goodbye to your brothers and closed the door behind you before taking it.

You found yourself in a field with colorful flowers everywhere, tall mountains in the distance, and a forest behind you.

"I hand made this place, hundreds of years ago, but I've never brought anyone here."

Your eyes flickered over the scenery around you and a smile grew on your face. You turned back to Cas and your heart fluttered. He had picked your own little bouquet and with a blush, he handed the flowers to you.

Your hands brushed like they would in a romance movie, and Castiel felt the tingles shoot up his arm. He wondered if you felt the same. Every touch from you sent him crazy, every kiss made him felt like he was walking through clouds.

You knew he wanted to say something, but what was he waiting for?

The sun was slowly starting to set, creating beautiful colors in the sky. You and Cas had been chatting for a bit, but he decided now was the time.

"Y/n-" He cleared his throat and took a small breath, it seemed that his head was spinning. Which wasn't logical, because necks couldn't twist that far without breaking... He cursed mentally at himself for stalling too long. "When I first met you, I knew that you were My One. It was so strange to me at first. It's very rare for an angel to fall in love with a human. I grew saying that would never happen to me. But, you're special. I was so wrong, and I'm happy to be one of the few who fell in love with a human. And now that we have been together for a couple years now, I wanted to ask you a question."

Castiel dropped down to one knee, then with a shaking hand he pulled out a small velvet box.

"Will you marry me?"

All this time, you were internally screaming. You knew what your answer was even before he asked the question.

"Yes!"

Your eyes brimmed with tears as he slipped the ring onto your finger. Your mind couldn't seem to wrap around the fact that you were engaged.

Castiel stood up and you embraced him with a passionate kiss. His hands wrapped around your waist, yours over his shoulders.

"I love you," he whispered, resting his forehead against yours.

"I love you too," you replied, not wanting to leave his side again.
