You were relaxing in Josephine Adler's Heaven, a sixteen year old girl who died in a car accident about two years ago. It was a sandy beach with the sun sinking slowly in the distance, it was low enough for the stars to start appearing. The wind blew softly, causing the palm trees to shutter with a blissful noise that harmonized with the gentle lap of waves upon the sand.

This was your favorite place to be. It gave you time to think, where no one would disturb you except for Josephine walking across the beach with her beloved cat who passed shortly after she died. You smiled as you saw them once again, you had persuaded the reapers to bring the cat to her Heaven.

You didn't talk to the girl much, but she said 'Hello' when she saw you.

But then you heard something out of the usual. The flap of wings. Shortly after you felt the presence of another angel.

"Castiel," you greeted, turning around to face him. He dipped his head and bit his lip. "You have something on your mind," you deducted. "Speak."

He blushed, shifting his weight.

"I want you to join me. I'm rebelling to help Dean Winchester and his brother, Sam. I already have a couple garrisons following me, but I need you-"

"This must be a joke, Castiel. My humor sense is far different than yours," you snapped. "Dean and Sam Winchester are the proper vessels to Lucifer and Michael! They must say yes, and if you are going to protect them, changing destiny, I will not stand by you. I thought you were loyal."

"Y/n, if you could just-"

"No! Your love for the humans has grown too strong. Can you just let something go according to plan, for once? You messed up so many times, and God resurrected you for punishment. Don't you understand?"

Castiel nodded slowly, fixing his gaze upon you. He seemed to realize that coming to you was a lost cause.

"Leave, before I kill you. I'm merciful, more than the others, but I must act according to law."

"I understand." His onyx wings stretched out to their full maximum, flapping once before he was gone.

He was a fool.

You shook your head, the beach not so relaxing anymore. Stretching out your own wings, you prepared to leave to leave to find Raphael, but another flap alerted you to stay.

"Crestiel." You turned to one of your garrison members, you were the leader. Superior to all of your garrison.

"Y/n." She dipped her head respectively. "I saw that you had spoken to Castiel."

"That is true."

"Did he offer for you to join his ranks?"

"He did," you nodded.

"Please tell me you didn't take it."

"He is following his heart, but it is leading him away from our laws. The Winchesters must follow their destiny."

Crestiel smiled. "You know, everyone said that Castiel likes you. I thought you liked him too, but I'm glad you didn't agree to him. Who cares about what happens to the Winchesters anyways? Humans are nothing but flaws." She flapped her two pairs of golden wings and vanished.

You looked back at Josephine. You didn't think she was a flaw.

Humans had so much potential, Castiel obviously saw more in them than you.

Instead of heading to Raphael, you headed down to Earth. Finding Sam and Dean would be hard with the carvings on their ribs, but you would just have to follow Castiel.

You were going to find out the truth for yourself. Crestiel made you think, now you couldn't decide which side to choose. The Angels' or the Winchesters'.

'You know, everyone said that Castiel likes you. I thought you liked him too-'

You groaned, it was true, you did like Castiel. You didn't want to see anything bad happen to him, but that was not a reason to form an alliance with him.

You landed in El Dorado, Kansas. And turned to immediately see a black Chevrolet 1967 Impala drive by on the road. You could tell the one driving was Dean, the one shotgun must be Sam, and there was Castiel in the back. He turned and you ducked out of the way. You followed them all the way to a dirty motel and stopped at their door, listening in on their conversation.

"-Dean! You can't say yes to Michael!" Sam argued.

"Like I'm going to let you say yes to Lucifer! We know he already has a vessel, if I could just have Michael get to him before he gets to you-"

"But-"

"Lucifer is the one destined to go to the pit, I'll be fine!"

You listened a little more, entering the room after awhile just to see how they acted. They couldn't see you, of course.

You noticed that they weren't as flawed as the rest of the angels described them. Dean's soul was broken but he was still trying to protect his brother. He was trying to do what was right.

You guessed that was the problem. Why you had so much struggle deciding which way to turn. It was all about following your heart, and your heart belonged with Castiel.

At that moment, angels broke to into the motel room. Sam and Dean turned in horror.

"Dean Winchester, you will come with us."

"Or what? You'll kill Sammy? You can't do that," Dean replied with a smirk.

"But we can still torture him."  You recognized the angels to be apart of Raphael's garrison. Dean clenched his jaw and pointed a gun at the angels. They smirked. "That won't hurt us."

"But this will." You showed yourself, sticking a blade into the nearest angel. The rest turned on you, grasping their knives.

"Y/n," they sneered. Launching themselves at you, you dodged each blow they sent. Shoving your angel blade into one's throat, another's gut. You charged at the last, grabbing onto him and jumping out the window, hitting the ground hard and killing the angel quickly. You had learned that one from Castiel.

You got up and took off your bloodstained jacket, tossing it to a garbage can on the street.

You looked back and saw Castiel gawking at you.

"I thought you said you didn't want to break the laws."

"But I decided following my heart would be a better choice," you sighed. "I did this for you, Castiel. I want to help because I believe this time you are right. Watching Sam and Dean made me realize that. I'm sorry."

He stepped forward and pressed his lips to yours, gently setting his hands on your hips.

You two didn't even notice the Winchesters, mouth agape, looking through the window before turning quickly away.

"I guess Cas has some hope with girls after all."

The teacher strike ended, I had my first day of school today. This means that there will be slower updates now that homework should be flooding in. I have a hard schedule, but I will try to make a chapter whenever possible.

Thanks!
