You know what day it is! How many of you are a witch or wizard?
Also, it's my mom's birthday...
For the sake of the preference, this is when you're 11. (Which you should know)
Dean-
You looked up to the stool with the sorting hat perched on top. One by one you heard names being called up, you wondered when you would hear yours...
"L/n, Y/n," Professor Mcgonagall's voice rang out, you gulped and willed your feet to move forwards, putting on a brave face. The hat was set over your head and you waited in silence, listening to the hat make up his mind.
You wanted to be in Gryffindor...
"Tricky, very tricky," he huffed. "You would do well in Hufflepuff but I better put you in... GRYFFINDOR!"
The hall cheered and students of your house greeted you with smiles. You looked back to the hat.
"Winchester, Dean." A boy walked up to the hat, he turned and revealed bright green eyes and a face full of freckles. The old hat barely touched Dean's head before shouting,
"GRYFFINDOR!" Everyone cheered as he plopped down next to you.
"Winchester."
"L/n."
Sam-
You waited for your name to be called, you already knew what your house was going to be. Your whole family was from Slytherin. You were kinder and smarter, but you already predicted where the hat would send you, as much as you didn't want it.
"Winchester, Sam." A little boy with long-ish hair stepped up to the stool.
"You got this, Sammy!" A loud voice sounded from the back. You turned and saw a green eyed Gryffindor standing by his house table. That could only be his brother. Sam blushed as the hat was lowered.
The answer didn't take long.
"RAVENCLAW!" Sam smiled and sat down, the Gryffindor looked fazed for a second before shouting once more.
"Still better than Slytherin!" Everyone laughed, except for the Slytherin table.
"Sit down, Winchester!" Snape yelled.
A couple more kids were called up before it was your turn. You walked up and the hat was placed on your head. You met eyes with Sam before looking to the doors in the back.
"SLYTHER-"
'No,' you thought. 'I want to be in Ravenclaw.'
"You definitely have the brains for that, but are you sure?"
You nodded.
"RAVENCLAW!"
Castiel-
One by one by one, kids got up then left to fill the empty spaces at their house tables. You were bored. You wanted to move on. Beside you, a boy fidgeted nervously.
"Chill." You gave him a nudge. "Its just sorting, not a final test."
He looked up at you with bright blue eyes.
"My name is-"
"L/n, F/n." You gave him a smile and stepped up. The Sorting Hat was placed on your head.
"SLYTHERIN!"
You grinned and sat down at your table, shaking hands with a few people.
"Novak, Castiel."
The boy you had talked to put on a brave face. Sitting down, it looked like he had no emotion.
"HUFFLEPUFF!"
Gabriel-
You waited off the side of the gathered first years. A boy slumped beside you then turned and gave you a smile.
"What do you think you are going to get?" he asked, you replied with a shrug.
"Gryffindor?"
"You seem like a Hufflepuff to me," he smirked. "I think I'm a Slytherin." You only rolled your eyes. "The name's Gabriel."
You opened your mouth to introduce yourself.
"L/n, Y/n." You stepped away from Gabriel and mouthed 'Gryffindor,' then turned.
"GRYFFINDOR!" the hat yelled. You smiled triumphantly to Gabriel, he scoffed.
Then it was his turn.
"SLYTHERIN!"
Crowley-
"MacLeod, Fergus," Professor McGonagall called.
"Call me Crowley," the boy said, sitting down on the stool. The hall interrupted into small giggles and the teachers rolled their eyes. The Sorting Hat was placed on Crowley's head and it waited only a quick second before shouting,
"SLYTHERIN!"
"L/n, Y/n." You nervously stepped up to the stool, passing Crowley on the way. He gave you a smile. The old hat was placed on top of your head and it slumped down and covered your eyes.
You could hear it pondering houses in your head.
"HUFFLEPUFF!"
Charlie-
You watched as a pretty girl by the name of Charlie stepped up to the stool. You had seen her on the train, but her compartment was full.
"HUFFLEPUFF!" She smiled and raced down to her seat.
"L/n, Y/n." You walked calmly up to the stool and cautiously sat down. You waited while the hat was placed on your head. He seemed torn between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff.
"HUFFLEPUFF!" He finally shouted. You ran over took the seat next to Charlie.
Lucifer-
You shuffled nervously in the great hall. You were one of the last first years waiting to be sorted. You were nervous, to be honest. Your house was to be your family, you just hoped that you were put in a good one.
"I'm sensing you're a Ravenclaw," a boy next to you said. You turned and met his gaze.
"A Ravenclaw?" you whispered. "I'm not smart enough."
The boy shrugged, "So? I've guessed for every first year and always been right."
"Well, I think you're going to be a Slytherin."
"I don't know," he mumbled, "everyone in my family has been in Gryffindor. My father is expecting me to be in it too."
"Do you wan't to be in Gryffindor?"
"'Course not, believe me, I would rather be in Slytherin."
"L/n, Y/n," Professor McGonagall said.
You smiled back at the boy as you walked up to the Sorting Hat. It was placed down on your head and drooped low enough to cover your eyes. You could hear it pondering it's choices.
"RAVENCLAW!" he finally shouted. You smiled, the boy crossed his arms over his chest with a smirk. You rolled your eyes as you walked past him.
"Shurley, Lucifer."
You watched as the hat was lowered, but the debate seemed to take much longer than yours. The great hall was silent as you realized that Lucifer could be one of the rare hatstalls.
"SLYTHERIN!" he shouted out, and Lucifer stood up, smiling. You cheered, meeting his gaze.
'I knew it,' you mouthed.
