Chapter 9:Don't Listen To Your Friends, They Would've Never Let Us Start

July 26th. -4 months later-

*Alex's POV*

"Alex! Lets go!" I could hear Zach trying to get his voice to the back of the bus and slowly getting closer. When he moved my bunk curtain, he found me, still scrolling through my old text messages between Cameo and I. "Really Alex?" He sighed and sat on the floor next to my bunk.

"I just keep wondering why I still haven't heard from her. I text her all the time, just trying to be casual too. I'll text before or after a show and tell her what's new and what I've been up to, I even send her pictures." I sighed and clicked my phone off and turned over to face Zach. "It's been months. What's going on?"

Zach patted my arm. "It'll be ok. Maybe she.." Zach and I have been through this conversation so many times I think he finally ran out of things to say.

Four months, four months since she's talked to me or texted me. I've missed her like crazy and everyday I still text her, in hopes to get a reply but there's always nothing. Why was she ignoring me?

"Zach, Alex! Here are you guys? Come on its time to eat!" Rian came in and looked down at the both of us. "What are you doing?"

  When we were getting up, Rian noticed my phone out and after looking back and forth between the two of us he figured it out. His forehead creased and and pointed a finger at me. "Really? Again Alex?" He pointed an accusing finger at me. "You've been at this non stop since that night. Give up on her." He demanded, his finger jutting into my chest. I could feel my face burning up and my heart beat quicken.

  "What do you have the right to tell me? You don't even know her! How can you tell me how she feels or what she's been doing or anything at all about me or her?!" I puffed out my chest and bumped against him. "Keep your mouth shut Rian." I grabbed his finger and yanked it off of me, and pushed past him.

  "I don't know her?? What? She just dropped you Alex, how can you say I don't know her?! She's just like Lisa!" I stopped in my tracks and spun around on my heel. I tried taking a few deep breaths but nothing was calming me down at this point.

  "Excuse me?" Zach gulped behind Rian and took ahold of his arms to try and edge himself past Rian to stand between the two of us.

  "Watch yourself Gaskarth." Rian warned trying to look past Zach's shoulder. I licked my lips in anticipation at what was coming next.

  "Me? I need at watch myself? Wanna try saying that again Dawson?" I shoved myself against Zach and went face to face with Rian. But, the door to the bus slammed open and Jack and Flyzik came running in.

  "What's going on?!" They asked panting and staring wide eyed. Zach walked towards me and made me go backwards towards Jack and Flyzik. "Alex, you need a break, come out and cool off for five minuted, eat and relax. Then, we need to practice the new song." Flyzik led me out of the bus and to the hotel we were staying at for the night for our last minute family bus party.

  I had never had a fight like that with Rian before and I was fuming now. How dare he call Cameo, Lisa. How care he compare her to that. Lisa was a love that failed and Cameo is nothing like her. There's just something wrong, something going on or happening, and for whatever the reason, I just haven't been told about it yet. I sighed, thinking of all these months that we haven't texted.

*Rian Dawson.*

  "Really? I mean come on Zach was that really neccesary for him to do? He was being ridiculous! I helped him out for Christ sake!" I slammed my fist on the counter in the bus and Zach just stared at me.
