All I Ever Wanted: Part 13: I'll Stand By You

Hunter's POV:

I must have fallen asleep... I looked down at my phone, it read "12:22"' I looked down to see Kay peacefully asleep on my chest... "God she is so beautiful...." I thought to myself. I contemplated on whether or not to wake her up... And tell her about Chad. "Ugh. I can't believe he is doing this to her... How did he know? I thought. Then, it clicked.... Our interview from earlier was already in the tabloids. I was going to make sure I Protect Kay.... And her heart no matter what it took, I was going to stand by her. I loved her so much... There is no way I was going to lose her to Chad. Not now... Not ever. I leaned down and gently kissed her. She slowly began to wake up as I pulled away. She smiled that beautiful smile that made my heart melt. "Hey sweetie, How was your nap?" "Good... Because I was with you." She giggled at me. I smiled at her. It was time to tell her... "Honey, there is something you need to know. When you were asleep, Chad texted you. He is on his way here. To Florida.

Kay's POV:

My heart began to pound after Hunter told me the news. "It's going to be okay sweetheart. I am not going anywhere. I promise." My heart rate slowed down and I began to relax again. "I love you so much Hunter." "I love you more..."

LATER THAT DAY: Same POV:

We went back to my hotel room, and I got a call from Chad. He told me he landed and was on his way here. Hunter and I decided it'd be a good idea to go out to dinner with him and set our feelings straight. I didn't love him anymore. I never would again. I loved Hunter.... And that was NEVER going to change. Hunter came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist... Whispering in my ear... "Do you know how much I love you?" I turned around and looked at him. "Almost as much I love you. " I don't know about that one." He said and then kissed me. I'm nervous Hunter. I don't want to see him again. I haven't seen him since before school break." "Everything's going to be okay. I'm here... To protect you... And to love you... And to support you." God I loved him so much!! I went to get dressed. I put on a pair of yoga pant capris, A bright blue tank top, sneakers, and my hair in a bun. I added the final touches of makeup... Then walked out to the couch and sat comfortably in his lap.  "You look beautiful Sweety!!" "Thanks!!" He gave a half smile and said... "are you ready to go?" I sighed and said, "as ready as I'll ever be..." He gave me a kiss before we walked out the door.

Once we got to the resturant, my heart began to pound. I could tell Hunter was nervous too, even though he was trying his best to hide it. "Hunter... I don't know if I can do this..." I said with my voice shaking. "Yes you can... I will be right by your side the whole entire time... everything will be ok. We got out of the car and I grabbed his hand and held it tight. We got inside the restaurant and I spotted Chad. "There he is..." I whispered to Hunter. He pulled me closer to him which made me feel more secure. Chad spotted us and a smile appeared on his face. My heart began to pound. Soon Chad was in touching distance of Hunter and I. "Hey Baby... I missed you..."
